Xi'an Ancient Town, Qujiang Poolside, a three-storey penthouse duplex, from entrance to attic. This 422 ㎡ residence awakens the atmosphere of home in a vegan elegance. Returning to reality, the concept is designed in a minimalist, modern design style, drawing out a relaxed pattern of life in a busy reinforced clay forest, embracing the tranquility of the real life, writing down modern oriental poetry and creating a home for the soul.

01/
Between the feasible and the expected
Accessible and accessible

THE ORIGINAL HOUSE-STYLE STRUCTURE OF THE HOUSE ITSELF IS NOT IDEAL. THE ORIGINAL SPACE WALLS ARE NUMEROUS, THE LAYOUT IS DISPERSED, THE MOTIVE RELATIONSHIPS ARE MESSY AND COMPLEX. THE DESIGNERS HAVE ACHIEVED A SENSE OF TRANSPARENCY OF THE SPACE BY OPENING, EXPANDING, REARRANGING THE SPACE, AND BY CLEVERLY REDECORATING THE WALLS THAT CANNOT BE REMOVED IN THE SPACE, CHANGING THE ORIGINAL LOSS The state of order ultimately establishes a three-dimensional and transparent spatial order. The design is based on a true oriental philosophy. The opening of the kitchen and restaurant, the transparent glass doors, the large floor windows, and the columns of the original structure are embellished with natural stone, making this space suitable for dialogue and dialogue through the contemporary design context of material transformations.

The sofas and coffee tables in the living room are from the famous brand Minotti and are designed in an elegant and modern Parisian décor: pure design, exquisite materials, impeccable workmanship, and meticulous detail create a wonderful balance. All of this goes hand in hand with the style of the project. The Minotti sofa is a young, vibrant seating system whose geometric lines form an original combination of soft volumes at a very regular rhythm filled with free space. The streamlined aesthetic side by side with the wide seating arrangement is very flexible and easy to arrange. IN THE LIVING ROOM, MARBLE-SHAPED COFFEE TABLES ARE MATCHED WITH CUSTOM-COOLED MURALS, GIVING THE SPACE A VIBRANT VITALITY BETWEEN SOFTNESS, MOVEMENT AND STILLNESS, ENHANCING THE HARMONIOUS BEAUTY OF TRANQUILITY AND TRANQUILITY.
The living room is a perfect combination of structuralism and functionalism. The concept of design draws the spatial structure with rationality, elaborates on the expression of emotion, emphasizes the creation of harmony and order, and intervenes between the feasible and the desirable, and the accessible fragments of space.

Establishing order in the midst of chaos

Eliminating the original partitions, the designer lit up the restaurant and kitchen, increased the introduction of natural light, while expanding the dining view, leaving the composition of the space a more open and transparent possibility. When natural light enters the room, the flowing tones merge, breaking the original boundaries. Outside the house, people come to life with nature, reality, and poetry rises and allows one to enjoy the present. The lighting above the restaurant and the space are also very pleasing to the eye. In such a large open and independent space such as the kitchen, restaurant and living room, there is only comfort and peace. The space is filled with the refined feeling of the present calm and calm. This expression of emotion is the harmony of technology and the natural soul. Joint.

The real advantage of the transition of space is to form a dialogue between the gaps and transparencies, hidden in the poetry of the East, and responds to the breadth of modernism. The cabinets in this case are from Häcker, which is at the forefront of technology in the world. Häcker combines advanced technology, rigorous design and maximum comfort to make the kitchen space unique. Minimalism does not equate to simplicity, but to establish order in the bustle. Designers apply lines throughout the interior, using the intersections of lines to create a dynamic, rhythmic and dynamic active space with a strong sense of design. The lines and color blocks of the large block give the whole space a tidy atmosphere. In a space where gray and white interact, explore the intimate practice of the interpretation of materials and light shadows, and write poetry in space under the inspiration of Eastern philosophy. In the application of colors, the designer chose concise black, white, gray as the main tones of the space, while using stone and wood grain materials rich in natural textures to revitalize the space. The common area and entrance hall on the first floor meet the basic functional requirements, while the equipment room, laundry room, hides the function of the entrance hall with clean and elegant customized products. Removing all unnecessary design between the kitchen and the appliances, creating a space characterized by simplicity, “simple, diffused”, and the more modest design, on the contrary, more noble. Located on one side of the living room, the designer uses a minimalist modern design method, incorporating the humanistic arts of wood carving, wood grain, Chinese armchairs, etc., to create a unique atmosphere of space in the spirit and oriental atmosphere. The presence of stairs as a connecting space, designers have created here a “corner” where you can relax and calm down. They are fragments of memory, images of time, and containers for life scenes.

03/
The simpler, the more comfortable

The second floor is mainly occupied by bedrooms and tea rooms. Private spaces give a different psychological feel to the space through different uses of color. The elaborate narrow frame doors, the minimalist ceiling, the intake system for all the spaces, and the kind of craftsmanship that can only be seen under the handrails, without too much description, will remain in the memory.

The master bedroom continues the style of the common area with a minimalist, modern design that embraces simple, more comfortable aesthetic principles. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with elegant leather sofabed and dark blue sofa make the whole space fresh and luxurious. Most of the bed and sofa furniture in this bedroom is from the Chinese brand - Banlan. SUPER NORMAL, BANLAN'S INTERPRETATION OF MODERN CHINESE STYLE, IS “ORDINARY” AT FIRST GLANCE, UNOBTRUSIVE AND UNTIDY. AND MORE PURSUING “PATIENCE” AND “NO HOLES.” This is also the tone and expression of traditional Chinese artistic spirit. In detail, the outer space, function, and details are surrounded by inner gaze, contemplation and refinement. In the master bedroom, the conceptual design uses a desymbolized design approach, returning to the spirit of contemporary design by painting an atmosphere of natural comfort. Stepping into bed, designers import natural symbols, line elements to relax the tense chords of the heart, withdraw from the hectic pace of life, regress, heal, and care about the heart. Smooth lines adjust to natural tones, like a dose of healing, soothing and healing.

The master bedroom is equipped with a toilet, the open washroom area holds more functionality, and the careful design keeps everything compact but not crowded. Horizontal vertical lines seem to tell a story of clean and clean space. Entering the tea room, the designers are intent on transforming the atmosphere and silence inherent in the traditional teahouse in a modernist way, breaking through a large array of floor-to-ceiling windows, breaking through the subtle white walls of a serene white wall, slowly unfurling an ancient aesthetic. It takes the burden off the search for pure modern design.

04/
Getting back to the real world is easy

In the attic of three floors, the designers retained the original triangular roof structure and, through symmetrical skylights, between the blocks of space and the level, sought a fun, thereby creating a self-contained scale. The Mahjong Sofa was designed by renowned German designer Hans Hopfer. He is a great painter, sculptor and designer who has excelled in the history of the development of the Roche Bobbis brand. In the 1970s, Hans Hopfer created the Mah Jong Sofa, which was collected by the MobiBoom Modern Home Exhibition at the Louvre Museum of Decorative Arts, and became a milestone in modern design. The form freedom of this fully modular low seating system allows to break the design mold and encourages a whole new way of organizing living spaces.

The ancients glorified the “road to simplicity”, and life also promised “simplicity”. This pursuit of simplicity, real wisdom, is more evident in the use of color in the three-story space: the use of simple solid colors such as wood and glass is widely used, and complex decorations are discarded, and wood and white colors create a calm, homely atmosphere. The clean and clean lines in the space fully show what the beauty of space is. Simple atmosphere, eliminates clutter and outlines the pattern of a relaxed life. From large to simple, more or less, in the midst of a return to reality, Kehler is effortlessly patterned, blending contemporary and traditional poetry to the fullest.
