Each design choice and architectural feature is designed to enhance your sense of tranquil retreat — carefully designed to seamlessly blend the original beauty around you. Through this foundation program, we strive to explore the concept of a traditional Danish summer villa with wild nature as a backdrop. A method that reflects in the overall shape of the structure and the selection of wood as the main material in the interior. Two carefully crafted axes easily connect different functions to ensure harmonious flow from one space to the next.

The villa itself is well-thought-out positioning, mainly on previous house design drawings to minimize the impact on the surrounding landscape, as well as matching the sloping environment, utilizing different levels to create a sense of comfort while maximizing the stunning views. The silhouette of the barn structure contrasts vividly with the soft hills and rolling landscape around the house, while the cedar covering gives the house a natural skin that, over time, will turn into a beautiful silver color that blends with the colors of the site to form a building that is both fused and prominent.

With Ray-treated Douglas fir wood planks, from the entire interior, from floors to walls and ceilings, not only bring warmth to the space, but also the hope of continuing to blend seamlessly into the environment. In the warm-hugging tree-covered living room, nature has become a permanent companion, erasing the boundaries of indoors and outdoors. The choice of traditional brick flooring is an homage to the timeless elegance of Danish residential modernism of the 50s and 60s, injecting a sense of traditional space.
