HEIMA architects Fully Open Forest View Villa

Designed by HEIMA architects, this fully open forest landscape villa is surrounded by forest and has a pool house by the lake. It complements the functions of several existing houses. The surrounding landscape clearly determines the architectural form of this country forest villa. A typical double-slope roof as an interior element contrasts sharply with large windows, creating a sense of transparency. Compact rectangular surrounds naturally blend into the landscape, respecting the surrounding environment.

Both day and night you can see the two different contours of this building. The goal of Daytime Vision is to integrate this space as smoothly as possible into the surrounding natural environment. Night vision reveals the modern interior of the building. The dark exterior and the illuminated transparent interior create a vivid contrast, emphasizing the shape and texture of the furniture.

THE EXTERIOR IS FORMED BY NATURAL MATERIALS AND COLORS—REED ROOFS, GRANITE PATHS, AND TIMBER SPACES AROUND THE POOL. The maroon color palette of the building follows the philosophy of “no boundaries with nature”. The interior space contrasts sharply with the moderate exterior shapes, revealing a modern interior space that follows the same color material theme. On the one hand, the close natural wood theme and large windows lighten the boundaries of the interior and exterior, on the other hand, create a more common glass, weightless, and open feeling in modern interiors. Glass partitions are also useful when the seasons change. People can enjoy using the pool all year round.
