Espacio 18 Arquitectura | Youth apartment on 360 floors, the aesthetic of poetic architecture in Mexico

Pensamientos Residencial is a 4-bed residence located in Colonia Reforma, 5 minutes from downtown Oaja, Mexico. The massive increase in land costs means more and more locals live in the suburbs. The project is located on a property with many qualities, including its location, where there is an opportunity to develop a project that makes the area more dense and demonstrates the goals that can be achieved through design and commercial strategy as real estate agents commission projects with the same vision.

The project is divided into 4 houses with a land area of 36 floors per house, which means ventilation and natural lighting are achieved through patios and perforations. The building area varies from 74 to 83 floors and is divided into three floors. Patios are an important element in the design because they unify the house with each other, respecting the sun and a specific program.

Although the functional distribution is different, the bottom level is the social area, the first level is the private area of the secondary room and the TV room or study, and the second floor is the main room and service functions. On each floor, patios with high walls pay homage to traditional Mexican architecture, its patios have been developed to be flexible spaces for users. The importance of this item seeks neutral tones to allow users to personalize the interior. Externally pasted finishes and wood from the Oaxaca coast, such as Huanacaxtle, as well as steel and volcanic rocks.
