The design concept of the Casanguilla Country Resort Villa is to cultivate a link with nature. The Italian countryside of Apulia, with its rhythm, colour and sound, is at the heart of the programme. Set in a private olive grove of 2 acres, this villa is built with tufo stone and painted using the ancient technique of “scialbatura di calce”, blending local tradition with modern minimalist architecture. Sustainability is at the heart of Casanguilla's values, with the building being heat efficient and powered entirely by solar energy.
The property consists of a main body with a living room, a dining area with a separate kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and a separate entrance. The first is located in a spacious modern annex building, and the other is in a private ancient Roman with a barrel-shaped dome. The 40 ㎡ pool is simple and practical, while the outdoor loungers are designed to immerse residents in nature and thoroughly relax. The outdoor dining table and kitchen provide a great opportunity for “outdoor” dining.
