Three Buckley is a minimalist residence in Singapore designed by Gabriel Tan's interior design studio Antimatter. The heart of the interior design: An indoor tree stands majestically in the air near the entrance, with a lush crown peeking out from the second floor. This green “ornament” infuses the family with a serene atmosphere while also symbolizing the growth and evolution of the family.
The main living space on the first floor meets the needs of leisure and social activities. There is a spacious three-seater sofa for family gatherings, complete with a set of Japanese oak inlaid coffee tables and a unique tan leather lounge chair. The bald walls serve as a projector screen, turning the living room into a temporary cinema. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area, the two seamlessly blending to create an open, fluid atmosphere. The dining table has a custom base in the shape of the auspicious number “8",
Extending from the living and dining space is a spacious outdoor terrace that provides an auxiliary living area for the family. With comfortable seats and a compact table, the courtyard is ideal for an early morning beer or late-night snack. The red patterned fabric on the outdoor seating injects color and vitality, promoting engagement and interaction. The exterior walls are decorated with large-format red clay bricks, adding rustic warmth to the space. The indoor tree can be seen from the terrace, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor space, creating a harmonious link.
Upstairs, the master suite exudes a calm atmosphere. Comes with a custom oversized padded headboard and an extremely comfortable DUX bed. The bay window has been transformed into a built-in dressing table, providing a convenient place for work or skincare procedures. The compact suite features double sinks and cleverly uses large mirrors to magnify its perceived size.
