The protagonist of this project is an extraordinary coastal landscape; indestructible, resistant to the onslaught of the Atlantic wind. We imagine the possibilities of living in this green environment, whose self-imposed goal is both grand and unremarkable, while at the same time encouraging unexpected actions of bodies and things.

The roof presents the shape of most of the surface, rises to the concrete slab, supports the important weight of a dense green roof, restoring the original vegetation. The pattern of the roof makes it possible to cover long spans and reduce its own weight, as well as to convey an almost impossible lightness, almost like a fabric blowing in the wind.

The main volume of the building is raised, embedded in the surface, overlooking the sea like a ship's head, resting on a granite carved into a prism. From here, a series of steps extend outward, providing access to the pool and grounds. The entrance is located in a courtyard open to the sea, where you can proceed along a spacious spiral staircase around a lush garden unaffected by the wind.

Its material characteristics—its use of limestone cement walls, horizontal concrete surfaces, reflective steel sheets, dark window frames and door frames—make the house difficult to see from the sea, as it sits in a grove, mimicking the colors of the natural environment, shrubs, and chalk rocks. The main part of the plantings is the local species selected in the free space and on the roof of the land, which require less water, the intermediate objective of which is to return the landscape images in front of the building to the area and reduce the heat load on the houses by making the most of evaporation.
