Minimal and large flat floor to match the living temperature
Unlike the marketed space products, which are driven by the preferences and consensus of the aesthetic of a certain era, the design of a private home is at the heart of: aesthetic retreat, life expression, autonomous interaction.
Minimalist design and spatial fluidity
Natural Openness, Poetic Confluence
Lee Youyou Design, who has always deepened and practiced the theory of “spatial fluidity”, is a minimalist in the field of private home design. In his opinion, minimalism is not always a thousand things. It is not a one-way creation based on the personal aesthetics of the designer, but a continuous co-creation based on the way of life of the inhabitants, about the realization of a comprehensive space, parent-child interaction, and the temperature of the scene. “Aesthetics is not the first meaning of private house design, but the fluidity of space is. This is precisely why the uniqueness of Garden No. 1 of Chenyang Lake is based on this.” Talking about the conception of Garden No. 1, Yu-Yoo Lee designed the space to create a purifying “life background” to expand the poetic new residence, like an art gallery, with an abundance of life scenes and interactive images. “Whether it's a luxury house, mansion or just need a room, the first step in designing is to open up the space, move the walls and doors away, forming a reciprocating double line, creating a complete space, allowing natural light and wind to flow horizontally and longitudinally. Minimalist structure is not a fixed example of uniform order, and Lee You-Yoo designed deeply how to project the richness of residents' lives with minimalism. Based on the core concept of “full space, natural interaction”, the designers took away the integrity of the blocks and the variability of the partitions, reducing the space to minimalism with large areas of white space, opening the defense mechanism of functional space, and reshaping the layout of the natural flow. Externally, the space in a low-saturated, unfussy manner, Xu Xue unfolds her daily life's paintings, quiet and poetic within.
Minimalism can also be extreme. Li Youyu designed the fluidity from beginning to end, expressing the interaction of nature and light, taking human movement at the heart of the movement line, making life in space evolve into a full interaction between man and man, man and nature. Therefore, designers are not strict in defining the scope and limitations of the space. Between the living room and the multifunctional room, a movable entrance door opens the two spaces and extends the view, enriching the scene of family recreation and interaction. Still contemporary art, it is also dynamically alive with the rhythm of the movement.
The perception of light is a functional norm in architectural structures and a preference for architectural aesthetics. LEE YU YU DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE NATURAL LIGHT INTO THE INTERIOR, AS A FREELY FLOWING MEDIUM, IN A CLEVER DIALOGUE WITH THE STEREO ELEMENTS IN SPACE. Just as the landscape of Suzhou garden changes and the landscape melds, as people stroll through the living room, flowing into the multifunctional room, and the gentle breeze blows through every inch of the space, the details of the light form a fictitious interwoven imagination, and the space slowly releases the lifestyle philosophy of “What I Am Involved”. The multifunctional room, which is a family room for interaction and harmony between parents and children, can also be used as temporary rooms. It is a symbolic representation of the designer's interpretation of “full space” and “spatial fluidity”. When the door is closed, the living room is quietly separated from the multifunctional room, and when the door is opened, the two spaces merge into a larger interactive space, creating a sense of free and open experience, widening the range of family interaction, parent-child interaction — within sight, or watching videos together, or Adults accompany children to play, read, and delicately pass between them.
In the world of minimalism, white is not just a color itself, but as a three-dimensional and inclusive canvas with unlimited artistic possibilities. Lee You-Yoo designed to depict the pure form of the space, planting large areas of white on the dining table and grille screen, presenting real to complete everyday life scenes, both bringing closer interaction and enhancing the artistic fun to the fullest. The wall installation “Dessert” is a reinterpretation of the fireworks of life, and the bright colors add a touch of spirit to the restaurant. “An extension of the art of living is the art of living.” Minimalism under the designer's pen is both a form of art and a form of life — a wide corridor that complements the storage function in a simple white setting, with a transition of saturated lemon yellow and turquoise crochet lines.
Simplified Forms, Drawing Daily
The Best Place to Design Life and Art
Li Youyou Design considers the client's home to be unique. Based on the different housing conditions, it examines the residents' future co-existence and interaction with the space for many years, and tailors an ideal home for its entire range. The main highlight of the master bedroom is the contrast of light levels with the order of light shadows, the boundless flow of natural light and the inky black wood grille rendering poetic silhouettes. While interacting with nature, the flip-up screen also enables flexible functional partitioning to keep residents from home to work or alone with only one wall apart from the rest area.
The maximization of light, as well as the attenuation of external forms of color, material, shape, etc., enhances the visual appearance of a minimalist space and becomes an elegant feature. A private home is the home of a resident's life, linking past time, present memories and thoughts of the future. Emotions and warmth are eternal themes. The girls' room continues on a clean white canvas, blending soft rose pink, painted with vibrant greenery, nature, light and light flow, and a soft touch of embossed pattern on the wooden floor. “The materials used for each occupant and each space are different, and the task of Yu-Yu Li's design is to match it to the fullest.” Step into the boys' room, from color design, shaping, modeling, and less complex minimalism combined with the boy's interests, and the blurred zone between the entrance and the walls fully achieves the freedom of the interactive scene.
For 8 years, Lee Youyu Design has been exploring the private sector, and believes that design is for the real user, a rational spatial solution is not all about design, and the focus is more on projecting different families and different lifestyles to different residents. Precise proportions, abundant light, suitable materials, pure colors, and artistic styling are the process elements of the Qianyang Lake 1 garden plan. The rich emotional concentration of space and the sublimation of the living temperature are the unique concept of “spatial fluidity” designed by Li Youyou, as well as its concept of “spatial fluidity”. Deep thinking about parent-child interaction takes modern minimalism to new heights. Walk into this residence, the light and the breeze flow between the functional blocks, filled with imperceptibility between pervasive spirit and pure atmosphere, or over time to Xu Xu, or the interaction of one's companions to the bare minimum. Every moment of wind, light, and shadow flows, creating a warm atmosphere that is just right for the space and the inhabitants.
