In the process, an incredible exchange quietly takes place: we entrust our feelings to the work of art, and the work of art conveys its authority and spirit to us. In the end, we met ourselves in the artwork. This is a major transformation project and resource saving is the starting point for our transformation. Retaining the original structure and furnishings, optimizing homeowners' lifestyle lines and storage details by layering, accommodating the spatial aesthetic of homeowners' hobby of collecting, co-creating a living space with an art gallery atmosphere.

In the design process, we used a certain concept of the scene. The effect of the luminous film at the entrance simulates the glow of sunlight, and from one place to another, is “up”. The view is turned to the end view, with a large parallel sliding door that deals with the relationship between walk-in storage and the scene. In the concept of a wrapped wooden box, it is best for “bearing” the sense of the entrant's ceremony. Turn from the invisible door in the background of the living room into the private area, preserving the original curved corridor movement, adding hanging paintings in the corridor, which makes it fun to walk and “turn”. The privacy is simple, the design ensures that the naked eye tries to be restrained and naked. At the end of the life ritual, both body and mind can be “united”.

Home is elegant;
It is also heavy and eternal.

Homeowners have worked in graphic design and are also collectors. This aligns our philosophy and together defines the aesthetic concept of “home is an unfinished art museum”. When building a space, we do enough work to be simple, wide and simple. Full whitespace design and storage display design, whether open or closed, meet the home owner's imagination and capacity for all collections now and in the future. Oak's warmth and orderly lines resonate with the rhythm of the lines. Xie Xiaodong's floor wood carvings, Chen Guangyao's paper town sculpture ornaments, old stools from Lijiang Taori in Yunnan, copper, porcelain, glassware, African milk stools and kubabs, Romanian craftsmen's head sculptures, old wooden trays and storage cabinets, Japanese paper lamps and Nordic medieval furniture, etc. Or the stunning unknown, or just as it is embedded in the various spaces and living scenes of this log home. In detail, watching an exhibition of art that transcends antiquity and the region about the beauty of habitation is like listening to an unexpected film narration of a drama and a dialogue with space.

From furniture to small utensils, the final shape of the home is gradually drawn with time and emotion.
