Located in Futian, Shenzhen, this 90 floor residence is a classic of Ran ancient design. The designer focuses on natural materials, combining neutral tones with a minimalist style, creating an atmosphere close to nature and comfortable living. From the doorway to the bedroom, every detail reveals the designer's precise grasp of the beauty and functionality of the space.
In this article, we take a deep look at the design highlights of this residential project and provide practical advice to help you learn how to achieve a balance of function and beauty in a large apartment.
The entrance gate is the front of the house and the starting point for creating a sense of belonging. A simple and warm atmosphere is created by using a pure white base with light shadow lines. An integrated design of the pediment elevation and the TV background wall emphasizes visual continuity, while dynamic murals add artistic flair and revitalize the space.
Choose from simple materials and neutral tones, and practical design such as shelves or hooks to enhance the functionality of the curb while maintaining beauty.
The living room is designed with open space, cleverly separating the different functional areas through soft compartments. The combination of black and white and two colors, plus layers and intersections of the material, makes the space both modern and fun. An entire marble TV wall becomes the visual focus and adds personality to the space with colorful and animal-patterned fabrics.
Carpets, furniture or floors of different materials can be used to divide the area naturally, without compromising the feeling of openness and giving the space more level.
The study room is another highlight of the ancient design, with a refined marble table with tea sets and a bonsai, creating a unique cultural atmosphere. The interior design of the study is concise yet elegant, providing a space for users to focus and relax.
Choose versatile furniture such as adjustable desks and simple furnishings to enhance space utilization and visual appeal.
In the restaurant section, Ran Ko's design uses marble walls and scene murals to create a visual extension that makes the space look more open. With consistent flooring materials, the restaurant blends naturally with the rest of the public space.
Choose furniture with a simple design and add reflective materials such as mirrors or glass to enhance the visual sense of space.
The bedroom is designed with a gray accent and a soft curved headboard design to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The separate reading corner by the window is the highlight of the bedroom, providing a well-lit space for quiet reading.
Choose neutral colors such as light gray, beige and white, combined with soft light fixtures to create a comfortable and sleepy environment.
Since its establishment in 2019, Ran Ko Design has been committed to the design concept of integrating natural and human elements into the space. This project fully embodies the designers' use of natural materials and modern aesthetics, providing residents with a high-quality living space that combines functionality and beauty.
