This nearly 400 ㎡ two-bedroom home is connected to two small spaces on the top floor. By redesigning the layout and adjusting the location and dimensions of the doors and windows, the new space accommodates individual spaces for each member as well as a luxury home scale family activity area. Surprisingly, the designers completed two living modules consisting of a dressing room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a separate space for different family members. THE STRIPED LONG WINDOWS ON THE SOUTH SIDE ELEVATION ENVELOPED THE ENTIRE PUBLIC AREA WITH NATURAL LIGHT, WHICH WAS COMPENSATED BY A VERTICAL RECONSTRUCTION DUE TO THE INWARD TILTING ANGLE OF THE WINDOWS, WHICH AFFECTED BOTH THE LIGHT EFFECT AND THE LIVING EXPERIENCE BEFORE THE RENOVATION. On the basis of space as clean as possible, designers have buried the seeds of open, minimalist to embrace the richness of the interior.

Entering from the prescribed modernist elevator hall, large red sideboards with art paintings instantly brighten the space in front of the artwork, and “Between the Untruths” on the corner wall hanging leaves, the artwork completes a tiny and subtle collision with emotions that means you've stepped into a whole new world. The owner of the house has a unique taste for appreciating works of art. In spatial design, designers move lines and curves, color and texture, sculpture and painting, lightness and thickness, and so on. When complexity and contradiction are unified in an inclusive space, they form a luminous whole and belong only to the owner of the house.

Surrounded by Ligne Roset and Edra polar bear sofas, the living area is clean and dreamy, a Foscarini Orbital floor lamp in the corner and lazy Moroso petal chairs transform the scene into a place of Chagal's bustling imagination. Easy-to-use coffee tables of various sizes are made of different materials that play moving tunes in the interior, and none of the corners is dull. A collection of furniture and art made up of scattered petals and glass resin are original pieces from the design company. These condensed clouds and streams of water form a poetic passage of space, and this moment of solidification shows its power. Beyond the resin screen, the bar and restaurant fight against the living room. Nakajima, which has 600 kg of ceiling cabinets and cabinet legs, has been rigorously constructed and can finally be implemented in this area. The thick cabinets and ice-drip-like design of the dining chairs once again unleash a soft contrast charm. Hidden behind Nakajima, the cabinet panel material presents an overabundance of green to red in different viewpoints, and the marvelous interplay of giant water lilies transcribed on the ceiling. The whole area seems to be a lake that blends art with reality, classical and contemporary.

Gentle earth tones and arcs belong to young family members, from the bedroom to the bathroom to the drawing room, arched openings and large sliding doors allow these areas to connect to each other from one side of the day, while the air and sunlight flow. The arched and soft arcs continue from the structure to the furniture and accessories, and the sweet atmosphere of sweets does not stand out on the linen-colored base, but is instead tempered by the details that are piled up in the public areas, and the mood is subdued here. The cloakroom is almost the same size as the bedroom. The teal glass cabinet is the magic box of dreams that continues indirect lighting throughout the home. The cloakroom is crystallized in the light rendering, providing just the right sense of prestige and ceremony.

The lavatory is boldly designed to inject distinctive expressiveness, whether it is pure silence or a “taboo” steeped in black. It is like jumping out of the law of the whole space, intense, striking a dynamic balance with the overall response, while the spatial rhythm of the space breathes in one breath. It was born from this.
