Residential Project No. 2 is located in the Breeze City of Fuyang District, Hangzhou. The external environment, air and landscape of the community itself are very comfortable. The four-room layout, which was previously very cumbersome, was converted into a quiet, multifunctional living space with a modern industrial design. The easy and quick interior atmosphere provides residents with a place for private living and leisure.

The designers moved the location of the original kitchen, creating a crossbar space at the entrance, using coarse red brick as the base, and the top with pegs with extendable inserts. The passageway area guides the line of movement into the door through the ocean-plank ceiling. The rich material also completely changed the narrow access to the former entrance.

The same bricks as the pediment also appear in the fireplace design of the living room space. The black corner sofa will hold the living area, and the warm fireplace in the corner and the rough red brick are the owner's penchant for natural life, a designer tribute to the original and rustic.
The new kitchen will be fully integrated with the living room and restaurant, and the entire living space will extend towards the original bedroom. When opened, the space flows smoothly, natural light and fresh air enter the room through the windows on both sides of the house, greatly improving the lighting and ventilation conditions. The kitchen west dining table extends along the wall in parallel directions.

The transformation of the upper level is not as wide as a large axe in a common area. The designer combined the two bedrooms on the second floor into a master bedroom, half sleeping and half allocated to the bathroom and dressing room. The bedroom comes in black and coffee in two colors and creates a quieter sleeping area with interesting decorative wall lights and mirrored glass.

The separate walk-out bathtub is placed on the balcony area, transforming the bathroom into a fully functional, bright private space. Before the renovation, one can see the neighbors from the windows on the balcony, which does not have to cause an awkward situation. So the designers changed the original transparent glass windows to matte materials, and the curtains chose black wood blinds that are completely opaque, which not only introduce more light but also guarantee the privacy of residents and neighbors.
