THE STRUCTURE OF THE APARTMENT REMAINS UNCHANGED, NO INSERTS COME INTO CONTACT WITH EXTERNAL WALLS OR CEILINGS, ALLOWING NATURAL LIGHT TO FLOW THROUGH THE SPACE, AND THERE ARE NO DARK CORNERS IN THE HOUSE. Use the maximum available height by overlapping exposed concrete ceilings and their beam grids with the planes placed on the floor. The solidity of concrete and wood further emphasizes the linear expansion of the apartment, with a large balcony on the east side and a clear opening on the west. Concrete walls bend and guide, and solid wood walls store everything in the house, from hand sanitizer to pottery cabinets, from closets to bedrooms. When people walk from the living room to the restaurant, the floor adjusts to a more private part of the house.

THE SHORTER SIDE OF THE APARTMENT EXTENDS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH, WITH A RESTAURANT WINDOW ON THE SOUTH SIDE AND A DOUBLE-STOREY STAIRCASE TO THE TERRACE ON THE NORTH SIDE. The windows on the south side bring bright light every six months of the year. Pull up the curtains and the restaurant becomes dim, and to keep the space bright, a skylight is added at the top and a view is added below, creating a feeling of dining and cooking with the landscape. IN A FAIRLY MONOCHROME PALETTE, SOME WARMTH IN THE WOOD FINISH AND THE BRIGHT RED OF THE KITCHEN PANELING AND THE METAL LEGS OF THE DINING TABLE MADE OF BLACK LAVA ADD A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE AND MODERNITY TO THE SPACE.
