This small apartment of 45 ㎡, the interior was designed by Daria Burkut and Elena Guseinova, designers from SketchBuro. “Clients ask us to design an interior design to help make more profit from selling apartments in the future,” says the designer.

The apartment is located in the corner, so you can enjoy magnificent mountain views from every window. In our opinion, the column at the entrance is the main drawback: it is a structural element that we do not have the right to deform, but at the same time it completely blocks the view of the panoramic window. We immediately decided not to “change” it in any way anymore, but to connect it with the furniture, creating the feeling of being a single element of furniture with the table. The table itself is located on the base rack, the base is used as a cabinet, and one end is “mounted” on the column. For design reasons, we do not see cabinets, and it looks as if columns are the element on which the table depends.

Initially, no partitions were set in the room. According to the BTI plan, the apartment is a one-room apartment with a combined bathroom. During the development of the design project, we stick to the dimensions of all rooms, keep the wet area in its original location, and do not build additional rooms. The bedroom area in this item is specified by convention; zoning occurs due to decorative partitions and decorative partitions are also furniture elements. The central partition acts as the background wall of the TV and can be hung above it or placed on a cabinet below it. The wire can be accessed through the wire slot into the cabinet, reaching the location of all the outlets.

We insist on the architectural approach to design the space: the style of the entire interior is born in the process of creating a planning solution. We do not follow the principle of “each room has its own color”, on the contrary, we strive to create a single color scheme throughout the apartment to achieve the effect of a unified space. Therefore, all decorations, including floors, are uniform, allowing you to feel the scale of the whole room, even if the area is small.
