Intimate Paradise for Cohabitation
Now that you are happy and close friends
We grow together and bravely walk into the future every day
The owners, a young couple with two adorable daughters who are less than 2 years old. If the house could be a place of healing energy for them both now and in the future, they decided to create a home garden for them to “grow together.” This project is a multi-storey villa with an interior area of 300 ㎡ with a front and rear garden area of 177 ㎡, facing northeast and southwest respectively. The light is well lit, the terrain is open, and the original road is a narrow floor with a height of less than 2.6 meters, giving a greater feeling of pressure.
All Things to Ying | A Home in One
Using the “house integrated” architectural design method, the organic elements of the interior and exterior are combined to create a green, natural environment inside the building. Reinforced concrete creates a sense of breathing, seeking freedom from immersion in nature, seeing the vitality of flowering wood, and the sense of distance brought by blurred boundaries, emphasizing the most comfortable state of nature and space, establishing a close relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, changing with the seasons and feeling the view of the four hours. From the first sight of the entrance, the visual focus is directed towards the theater, and the terrace-style layout of the space is transparent and fully reaches the garden area. Use climbing vines to transform into soft tenacity, quiescent force with changes in number, volume, and micromotion.
To solve the feeling of oppression in one layer of space, we wrap the ceiling beams to stretch the top, and the built-in ceiling lights and strip open the top space. The open horizontal view reduces the feeling of longitudinal pressure. The submersion envelops the living room and creates more height for the longitudinal space. On the garden lawn, we respect nature, depicting arcs running around in small children, who are born into bibs. We separate the square garden with lawns of two colors, the circular loop does not end up forming a “garden runway”. The recessed sofa seating area simulates squatting with the children. We try to keep the view as low as possible, as if parents want to convey to their daughters the building of family relationships, two rows of restaurants for meals, and three rows of entrances.
The second floor bedroom replaced the original wall-mounted small window with an integrated system of door and window balusters, opening the sliding doors to give the master bedroom a gray space on the balcony. While incorporating the outdoor scenery as much as possible into the interior, it also creates an intimate relationship between each space and the garden theater where children run. It evokes an instinct for intimacy with nature, the outside world, and a caring and caring relationship between space and family.
Department of Healing | Health Residence
The whole interior is laid out in a gentle and clean, casual base, wood and stone materials, unique growth textures that breathe like pores, breathe, and every inch of skin feels the softness and comfort that space brings.
Reshaping Home Culture|Inheritance
Originally two separate children's rooms are connected, allowing the sisters to help each other day and nourish each other in the light of day after day, and truly “grow together”. Incorporating the expression and heritage of the home culture into the design, the decision to make the garden the most important hierarchical area determines the mission that the house will carry, the mission of healthy growth of the child and the family caring for each other, and implicitly providing nutrients for the growth of the daughter. The meaning of home may vary from person to person, but the essence of the return is a gentle, settled love, filled with a lifelong vision and a genuine expectation of goodness.
