The project is located in Mosha, Damavand, 60 km from Tehran and 2400 meters above sea level. The land area is about 600 ㎡, the dimensions are 30 x 20 meters and the slope is 20%. The designers decided to divide the land into three parts: the largest one is located in the northern part of the land, which is used to position the building at the location of the relevant road. The second part will be used for outdoor recreation, and the third part will be the green area of the site.
On this basis, the designers designed a recreation basement (including a jacuzzi and a bar), which is directly connected to the outdoor recreation area, where there is a heated swimming pool, a fireplace and a multifunction area. The first floor is used for a private area (sleeping area), uc21 architects designed two different volumes, one for the client's master bedroom, one for the villa entrance and guest rooms. In order to have more space on this floor and add more features, uc21 architects decided to expand the two volumes on their south side and rotate 30° to add a bedroom on the west and have a larger master bedroom. In addition, these first-floor extensions allow the design to partially cover the swimming pool (for use in snowy winters) and completely cover the fireplace area.
The last floor (first floor) is used as a living area, also divided into two parts, one for the living room and one for the kitchen and dining area. Placed vertically on lower floors, these volumes have the added function of extending the base: two large terraces. The living area is located on the top floor and offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. This concept helps designers to achieve more area on the villa, as well as more garden area, to meet all the needs of the client. The best decision is to build a villa in harmony with the surrounding mountains, give it a shape similar to theirs, and extend 1 meter alternately with certain areas of the floor, thus forming a slope that contributes to the drainage of rainwater and is in perfect harmony with the environment in which it resides. In addition, it was decided to give the building a completely white color in order to disguise it with snow in winter and make it relevant in summer. Finally, the large glass surface is used to enjoy the beautiful mountain view.
