This is a family villa built on the slopes of a rural canyon. The villa is designed by Abramson Architects and the interior is designed by Clements Design. The villa adopts a unique set of design and architectural strategies that does not neglect the landscape, but becomes part of the landscape.

Starting from the street level, the house goes to a one-story main floor and then descends along a sloping landscape. On the main floor, the architect designed a high space with concrete walls and detached skylights — specifically designed to allow light to reflect and reflect in interior design. As people move further into the house, the walls open and the ceilings rise to offer magnificent views of the canyon and beyond.

The upper level of the villa has a master suite with a male and female bathroom and a dressing room with private views of the canyon. In addition, this main living floor includes a kitchen, restaurant, living room, and covered outdoor space leading to an outdoor kitchen, dining area, and swimming pool — all with views of the canyon and Los Angeles. On the lower level are three second-level suites with en suite bathrooms that allow for more views. One of the most special moments in residential design is the external staircase leading to the rooms, which allows guests to enter the residence privately without having to go through the main house. Surrounded by rustic canyons, the house sits on a steep hillside and blends seamlessly into the sloping site.

To create a tactile, natural connection, Clements Design creates intimate moments throughout interior design that allow owners to feel contact with the land. In addition, due to the location of the house and the possibility of fire, the architects used non-combustible materials on the outside, such as concrete, metal and wood, with fireproofing panels on the back. To protect against the wind rising from the canyon at certain times of the day, a series of custom-designed aluminum windshields can move freely.
