Located in Oakleigh in Melbourne (a community with a large Greek population), Hellenic Homecoming is such a way of expression that it blends the designer's own cultural connections to enrich the home. The range of spaces generated by this communicates the efforts of the personal journey. Maria Danos Architecture combines a level of blue variation associated with Greek culture.

While retaining the original remains, including those added in the 1990s, the interior has been redesigned in color and texture to energize the family. Once a dark and low-light house is open inside, its functions have been repositioned to ensure the kitchen is at the center of the family. As a core element of European life, meeting and preparation spaces are also places for nurturing and connecting. Customers' reminders of Greek traditions are everywhere — each balanced by natural stone and textured elements and connected by soft wood flooring.
