“Housing should not be a degradation of space, but a life in space, a relationship with space that remains open.”

Today's new residential landscape is gradually taking shape. We found that over the past twenty years, the Chinese concept of housing was influenced by the family, always assuming that the number of bedrooms should be occupied, even if rooms were unused for long periods of time. With the ever-evolving change in the structure of family personnel relationships in society, more and more young people are more willing to seek open public areas in their homes, reserving only the necessary bedroom space. At this time, more communication with the family room and a wider view of living has become a new design direction.
In this project, we rationally analyze the actual needs of the client and rationally divide the area of the regional space. The overall movement spreads around the living room as the main subject. In everyday life, the living room is an important hub for family emotional communication and the place where family members spend the most time, and we maximize this space as much as possible in our design.

The material separation of the common area's ground highlights the leisure area while effectively separating the dining establishment. The overlay of Gshan with the outdoor divider allows the view to be stripped away from the regular floors, using the space to split the shadows to make life more enjoyable with natural light. The master bedroom combines a seating area, a water bar area, a cloakroom and a bathroom to make everyday living more convenient for residents. The bed backboard in a jointed design solves the dressing room and lighting, and we integrated the bedroom functions to reduce the pile of furniture caused by functional dispersion.
