This young family's new home is located in the leafy inner-city area of Melbourne, Australia, and occupies a narrow space. Walking down the street, the venue can see the Eighth Gola Ridge, next to the private golf course on the Yarra River. The exterior and visible length of the villa seem quite difficult to penetrate. The exterior is composed of gray, masonry, and concrete with a small amount of black highlights. The arrangement of windows is sparse, limited to small repeating squares and high grooves located at the intersection. The opening is pushed into the outer surface, creating depth for the elevation and giving its material a sense of heaviness. The home's more spacious openings face the private and interior, framing the views of courtyard space, light wells and roof lights, and along the narrow lower end of the building open to manicured verges and golf courses.

Beginning with a long galvanized steel grating entrance staircase suspended in the yard's native grass, the residence unfolds into a series of continuous spaces that divide into different levels and slowly descend to the site. A continuous rammed earth wall constructed of reclaimed concrete extends along the length of the building. This thick, sturdy, thick wall sets a palette of colors that always permeate the same raw materials; concrete, blackboard, charcoal, textured gray, refreshing white, and steel are the main finishes, with neutral wood and softer woven textures selected in the furniture selection to bring warmth to the home. A series of tall pivot doors open up a spacious living space leading to an enclosed deck made of heavy plank lumber. The edge of this space extends into an infinity pool, reflecting the sky and canopy of the golf course in the distance. A simple water fountain on the deck keeps dripping downwater, rippling across the surface of the pool, creating a tranquil ambient background sound.

The long kitchen and dining space is bordered by glass and glass slides into the minimal entertainment space in the courtyard, equipped with outdoor cooking and entertainment facilities. Above it is an 8m long connecting loggia that connects the upper entrance area to the master bedroom space. Quiet, quiet, serene, its elevated landscape surrounded by green roofs, greenery and flowers provides privacy for those who play golf in the morning. The concrete sides of the bed form a side table, heated by internal circular heating, making the concrete feel comfortable and almost soft.
