Designer Ekaterina Shilova designed this bright and comfortable apartment overlooking the Monastery of the Holy Trinity Sherga. This apartment is designed for a young couple with a school-age daughter. The main desire of the family is to arrange a private area on one side so that from the window you can see the main attraction of the city - the Monastery of the Trinity of St. Sergai. Another feature of the apartment is that it is located under a sloping roof - the ceiling height of the ridge reaches 4.5 meters. In order to make the most of the space, the designer designed a spacious mezzanine above the kitchen, equipped with a black staircase. The exterior walls are deliberately designed to be minimalistic with hidden milling handles so that this part of the room does not attract all the attention.
From the living room there is access to the balcony — the apartment owner's favorite place to relax. The designer placed here a comfortable combination of chairs and a bookcase. A soft light metal partition separates the balcony from the room. Most of the items in the bedroom are custom-made. Smooth lines of wooden headboards, plaster elements in the decor, asymmetrical bedside tables — all of this is made according to the designer's sketches. The designer also managed to build a large dressing room with a washing area in the room. Everything is conveniently stored here: pen boxes with washing machines and dryers, laundry baskets, pants racks, hangers with drop-down mechanisms, open baskets and drawers.
In the children's room, the designer suggested building a second floor above the bed, where girls can play, relax and spend time with friends. Can be used as an extra bed if needed. Since the hostess of the room loves to paint, the designers turned one of the walls into a large blackboard and provided a workplace equipped with everything necessary for creativity and learning: a comfortable desk, drawers for small items and open shelves. The bathroom is in soft tones. The asymmetrical shape of the mirror corresponds to the contours of kitchen lamps and bedroom mirrors.
