In the bustling city center of New York, Beaudry Collier Design brings an original loft apartment to life, transforming it into a home space full of warm textures and modern aesthetics.
Designers Alexander Collier and Cassandra Beaudry have succeeded in creating a youthful and sophisticated home with a flexible use of colors, materials and shapes.
Featuring approximately 60 floors of open space, this loft apartment in Manhattan's NoHo district is inspired by its ample natural light and unique architecture. Using the prismatic features of the original building, the design team combined with Pierre Augustin Rose's cream-colored pleated sofa to create a sculptural sense of space.
A solid wood bench by the window is another highlight, taking in the views of the junction of Bond Street and Rafah Street, allowing the apartment to blend seamlessly into the vibrant NoHo community.
The designer collaborated with Paolo Lenti to design a bold green handmade carpet that contrasts sharply with the gemstone Poliform furniture on the other side, adding a rich visual level to the living room. The limestone coffee table, designed by Atelier Benoit Viaene, enhances the material contrast of the overall space.
Egg-shaped mirrors from Bower Studios in New York become a hidden visual focus, reflect light and add dynamism to the space, revitalizing the originally simple hallway.
1. How do I divide a function area in an open space?
By using different furniture and carpet materials, designers are able to easily divide the space into different functional areas while maintaining the overall beauty.
2. How does the attic use natural light?
The designer maximizes natural light through the design of mirrored reflections and window seats to make the space brighter and more transparent.
3. What materials can enhance the sense of space?
Walnut, limestone and handmade fabrics add a rich visual and tactile contrast to the space.
To meet the needs of the family, the design team teamed up with artist Maya Santangelo to create a hand-painted landscape mural inspired by the resident's childhood stories to fill the children's room with vivid color and emotion.
The master bedroom is more low-key and soft, with handmade ceramic lamps made by Dumais Made, placed on either side next to a woven headboard designed by Paola Lenti, creating a serene resting space for a private feeling of complete relaxation.
The master bathroom is covered in all marble from floor to ceiling for a low-key luxury atmosphere. The dressing room has a warm wooden finish, creating a strong visual contrast. The soft texture of the lime-lacquered walls alleviates the sharpness of the original building prisms, making the overall space more welcoming.
Durability and beauty: MARBLE AND LIME LACQUER ARE TWO MATERIALS WITH HIGH DURABILITY AND CAN ADD A UNIQUE AESTHETIC TO THE SPACE.
Create a warm atmosphere: The combination of wood elements with natural stone enhances the warmth and comfort of the space.
Alexander Collier and Cassandra Beaudry have always been committed to transforming living spaces into living spaces that match the occupant's personality. In this 60-story loft apartment, they make the space not only aesthetically stunning, but an emotional extension through detailed design language.
This design by Beaudry Collier Design once again demonstrates their excellence in combining aesthetics and functionality. From every detail of the apartment, the designer's desire can be felt. Whether it be the choice of materials or the arrangement of the furniture, this loft apartment is an example of a modern home that is both practical and beautiful. If you are looking for inspiration, Beaudry Collier Design is undoubtedly the best reference.
