Residence HDC is a minimalist residence in Ghent, Belgium, designed by Ville Design. This spacious terraced villa exudes a tranquil atmosphere with a focus on making the most of space and natural light. To achieve this goal, the design uses light and warm materials, including light oak parquet flooring, white lacquered cabinets, and a unique fireplace finish using special painting techniques. The kitchen blends seamlessly with the floor, with an oak finish in matching tones to maintain a serene palette.

Custom solid walnut tables and vintage Niels Moller chairs add a touch of uniqueness to the project, while opting for the timeless Vola faucet enhances the overall aesthetic. To infuse more light and depth into the home, a white steel frame with cathedral-textured glass separates the office from the hall, forming a harmonious flow from back to front. Natural stone elements blend perfectly with the serene atmosphere of the apartment, which is an iconic feature of the architect's work.
