The client commissioned us to renovate her apartment, which originally had 3 bedrooms, one of which is a suite with dressing room and bathroom, was built in the previous renovation.

Design requirements include integrating the kitchen and one of the bedrooms into the living room to create a ventilated and well-lit space. We discussed a lot about whether to reserve the suite or whether we recommend providing only one bathroom, since the client lives alone and one bathroom is enough for her. The discussion took into account the social, cost and valuation aspects of property. In conclusion, following the basic requirements of the client, it is recommended to install only one bathroom in the apartment, so that we can achieve higher quality in the rest of the space. However, for this, the bathroom must be spacious and practical, in order to prepare another resident to live in the apartment in the future.

The design of the bathroom is that the washbasin, toilet and shower can be used independently. In the apartment, the bathroom is like an island. In front is the living room, on one side is the kitchen and the other is the office. In the background, a space with a hot tub occupies the elevation of the cobogós, which acts as a balcony, and the rooms around the bathroom are integrated together, making the social area of the apartment a circular flow. When necessary, curtains can protect the privacy of these spaces.
