The people of Kiki, Choski, and Tashiki, lived in wood, in forests, in wooden houses, from ancient to the present day. The unique Eastern “wood culture”, derived from nature, is also etched in the bones of the people of the country, the oriental wisdom of living “born in nature, with nature, with the earth and”, which contrasts sharply with the “stone culture” that conquered nature in the West. Fun in the wood, the East is white and lively.

DEMANDS I IDEAL LIFE

Located above the Jiangbei CBD upstream of the Dong River, Paulita Jiangwan South Bank is a great choice for the city's administrative center, business center and cultural center. The owners are a post-80 couple who have twins. The hostess is a financial company executive whose work hours are tense and stressful; the husband is passionate about playing the guitar and sipping tea while away from work. Through the selection and recommendation of the Nisiko Home Platform, LICO was commissioned to redesign the design of its 250 ㎡ 270° river-view mansion. Owners are especially fond of wood and expect designers to create with wood as the main element.

SOLUTION I IDEAL LIFE PLAN

Based on the owner's lifestyle, nature and the core design concept of LICO “50% DESIGN: Functional Aesthetics Reshaping Everyday Life”, the designers based on “Oriental White” as the theme of the case. The designer proposed a design strategy of “Born in Nature & with Nature”, using natural materials, based on wood, paper palate, cotton wool Gold stone, with wood grain, stone leather, and paper, creates a peaceful, warm and conscientious natural life atmosphere, presenting an ideal life attitude such as Yam and Annoakoto.

Accessible, hidden in Kan Kun

Entering the foyer from the entrance hall, it is a merging and flowing area: dark wooden stools and a light stone fireplace form the second link that blends with the restaurant. New wind and lighting functions are hidden in the ceiling dome, opening freely between kitchen, living room and bedroom. Be quiet and honest, think lightly, to the point of peace.

Wide and bright, warm and calm

The grille moved away from the wooden door, and a round of moonlit paper flashes into the curtains, setting a gentle tone for the overall space. The living room has a wide view, with a Western kitchen and a tasting area for guests, simple meals and climbing. The designer chose a set of two-way fabric sofas, with wooden sides, a wooden chair, a window lamp, a fireplace between the cabinets and a stone fireplace, which is thick and light, solid and gentle. The TV is hidden to reduce psychological cues to the children; when the husband is happy to let him down, a family can sit face to face and share a time of fiddle singing. There is water in the river outside the window, the indoor habitat is rooted, the heart is warm and natural is restored.

The owners especially like the atmosphere of family gatherings, so the designers maximized the expansion and coherence of the space in the public event area. Stay independent and private by distributing the master bedroom and two bedrooms at either end of the public area. Continued by design elements such as domes, grille wooden doors, suspended paper lamps, etc. The master bedroom has a hidden water bar for guests to spend the night and enhance their mood. A side window opens to provide an interactive and safe feeling. The world of Jianglu is more hectic, and the handrest is like yesterday. It is possible to build houses, make furniture, and carve items by living the ideal life of Gani Annowakoto, who grows in nature. THE NATURAL SPIRITUALITY AND PLASTICITY OF WOOD AND ITS VITALITY ARE INCOMPARABLE TO OTHER MATERIALS. THEY ARE ALSO CLOSER TO THE HUMAN BEING, CALM AND STABLE. AT THE SAME TIME, THE TEXTURE IS DIFFERENT, IT IS INVALUABLE, IT IS VERY PERSONAL AND PRACTICAL. Wood, arguably the most intelligent thing in the East, signifies a kind of life, regardless of whether it is dry and shows an ideal way of life: natural, however, such as Ami, Annowakoto.
