When space is given the meaning of “habitation”, it is no longer a mere habitat, but an emotional container for life; it is not just a functional fulfillment on physical space, but a sensual pursuit of spiritual interest. EVD XIXIANG IS A VILLA DESIGNED FOR A YOUNG FAMILY, LOCATED IN QINGXI GARDEN IN THE WESTERN SUBURB OF SHANGHAI. Half pure artistic humanities, half modern chic elegance, the rich spaces in the collision of different mediums and diverse aesthetics reveal the new way of life and self-assertion of the new generation of young people in their homes.

01 Shining of Light

The white tiling gives the home more possibilities for construction; the appearance of light interprets the movement of the space from above and below. The arch at the top of the living room speaks of the original strength of the building. At noon, semi-arched natural light falls on the ground, and people position themselves in it like a dome, creating unparalleled beauty and elegance. The space under the arch is made up of half-open glass doors and windows, creating a mobility that extends the space from the inside out and up. The art aesthetic intervenes in the space, awakening the inhabitant's infinite imagination and emotional perception of the living space. The structural order of the sculptures, the natural texture of the ceramics, the ingenious exclusivity of the glass lamps on the ceiling and the tension of the paintings, the art fun that blends the East West, is an eccentrism that embraces vitality and the harmony of space.

Fireworks in the room, but it is three meals a day and all seasons. Living room, kitchen, and restaurant are connected to each other, so that the space is adjacent to each other and remains independent. Located between the kitchen and the restaurant, the West Kitchen Island Table serves as a complementary function and a bridge between the two. The round table and square island table are organically combined with square and round, creating a dining area where people interact with each other. Creating every detail of life, embodying material finishes, traditional craftsmanship to the epitome of high-end homes, creates elegant and comfortable, high-quality modern living for residents. At the same time, the dynamic architecture of the space does not lack designers to control the system of the global vision. Based on this, EVD XXIX design combines the spatial structure, which was originally a single staircase, freeing up access lines to the attic, negative first floor and negative second floor. The multifunctional layout of the Chiping Villa is interconnected. A revolving staircase that runs up and down is at the center of the space, becoming an interaction and link to the attic. Organic shapes and soft lines make the space look uninteresting.

Slowly, leaving a quiet space creates a new artistic consciousness. The loft continues to unify the pure base tone, treating the space as a blank canvas. The designers tried to combine artistic visual displays through marble finishes and wooden floors to create an art gallery-like atmosphere, incorporating a sense of life and aesthetics into a relaxed everyday living space. THE AESTHETIC FORM OF OUTER SPACE EXTENDS INWARD, A SOLITARY SPACE FOR RESIDENTS TO MEDITATE. A SKYLIGHT, A LIGHT SHADE, INCORPORATE NATURAL LIGHT THROUGH THE ORIGINAL BUILDING'S UNIQUE SLOPING ROOF, EMBEDDED IN CALM INKY BLACK AND WARM WOOD COLORS, CREATING A MORE COMFORTABLE AND PRIVATE SPACE.

The corridor is an alternation of place and a transition of emotions. From social spaces to living spaces, just one door apart is separated by a private and secure boundary. A spooky Christmas trick is hidden behind the door and runs through the four bedrooms. The master bedroom is presented in the form of a suite. Apart from the living space of the bedroom, bathroom, bathroom and dressing room, it also functions for leisure and entertainment. Timeless space interiors, designers carefully select custom furniture such as bed linen, fabrics, carpets, and more. They seek a delicate balance between life and art in a unique way, creating a peaceful and comfortable sleeping space. In the activity space used by children, designers maintain the most beautiful atmosphere, creating an environment for enlightening learning and interactive experiences. Inserted art collage murals and suspended monkey lighting, a series of shapes present freedom and vitality, soft and vivid. Use art to talk about your child's spiritual world and build an open parent-child atmosphere.

A circuitous and interesting nexus is the first creation of visual coherence and the starting point for connecting living spaces. Multiple bends delimit the boundaries of the internal space and the pedestrian crossing area. Natural walnut wood reveals the pristine purity of space, and a new chemical reaction with trendy art works, ushering in a sense of artistry and ceremony that guides the ethos of homecoming. The first floor is a leisure center, where families talk, relax, socialize and enjoy life without limits. The emotional attributes of different materials are transformed into an artistic social space. “As designers, we are stewards of style, with a responsibility to respect the building itself, returning to the way of life of the residents, and ultimately incorporating our interpretation of the story into the home.” The designer shares the way. EVD XXIX design focuses on new luxurious living spaces, building the true meaning of life, highlighting the humanity of art and touching the emotions of residents.
