The project is located near the Daho Lake Golf Course in Foshan. The main building is a terraced villa, a front courtyard layout. The disadvantage is the lack of lighting in the central space. Therefore, the designers made a structural alteration of the original building layout, dividing the long bar space into a three-tiered layout of the front hall, atrium, and back room, central space Running to the roof and forming the layout of the illuminated atrium with the stairs, this transformation of the architectural structure greatly optimizes the quality of space, all the spaces are surrounded on both sides of the atrium, in addition to introducing natural light into the whole space, but also creating an open mode of spatial dialogue and interaction between the spaces.

01 Inward & Throughput

Inspired by the traditional Chinese residential quadrangular courtyard, the designer opened an atrium space that runs up and down in the central area of the house. This inner atrium makes the space both transparent and has a sufficient sense of privacy. Light wafts across the white walls of the atrium, where people communicate with space, nature and space, space and space. Communicate with. Designers want to create a “special relationship” for the space. Architectural formal language, poetic artistic details, and natural light permeating relationships create a space of pure and pure natural poetry. The restaurant is located below the atrium and is at the heart of the entire space. It connects all the rooms to a central axis and becomes a bridge of communication between the families. With the pouring of daylight, the dialogue between light and space, the solid wooden dining table, the wicker dining chairs, the wooden vases carved from the roots, show the traces of the years of the owner's pursuit of the artistic life.

By shaping the physical, flexible light and intangible images as part of a spatial scene, freely depicted on a pure white background, defusing the harshness of the structure and the sense of artistic distance, infusing the art story in the space where the story of art is told, adding warmth and emotion. This is the meaning of light, when light falls on a certain corner of the building, the building begins to be filled with spirituality.

02 Interaction & Communication

In the eyes of designers, the home is not only a dwelling function, but a place for the soul, the space is poetic, and the landscape is everywhere. The designers will focus on the atrium, each floor of the space setting terraces and windowsills in different directions, which correspond to each other and fall in line with each other. This makes the relationship more intimate and harmonious between the members of the family on the 23rd floor and can generate emotional interaction and communication at any time. This spatial pattern makes the relationship more intimate and harmonious。 Based on the trend of building voids, designers are looking for opportunities from within the space to extend the longitudinal dimension of space elevations to create an emotional transformation of space and people between the package and the open enclosure. The light from under the skylight, the transition between layers in different curved surfaces, the original texture of the cement wall, with the stairs and window sills of brass metal, forms a unique spatial texture and expression. The designer acted out a story based on “People, Nature, Art” and a spatial dialogue. Light creates dialogue through skylights and spaces, and people communicate through the public atrium. Space and space can also create commonality. The fusion, interlacing, separation, and overlap between the body blocks makes the space flexible and transformative. The designer wants every family and guest who comes here to experience a unique aesthetic of life, where you can look up at the sky and down you can look at the earth. The minimalist spatial structure, showing the beauty of the avenue, the purity of artistic aesthetics and the richness of contemporary life, forms the dramatic tension of the space under the influence of the detailed texture of the structure. This “tension” constantly spreads and forms a dark line that travels and drags through the constant twisting of space.

The first floor has plenty of fluidity and a sense of error. Elevate the restaurant as a whole, allowing common areas to form highs and lows without intending to achieve unique functional partitioning effects. Displaying small objects is a way of exploring the causes of aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the past, present and future. Embellished vessels, withered branches, and objects are left in silence. Light leaps into the room from the outside and slowly travels to every corner of the space. Light changes over time, jumps in different spaces, objects, furniture, intertwine in light, and thus acquire new life force, drawing inked on light shadows and materials, uniting a whole into a whole, drawing out a rich spatial form before our eyes. After entering the living room area, the large area is illuminated from the south, and the light slowly enters the room through the windows and welcomes the beginning of the day with a soft glow. As if you were in a quiet, peaceful, and rich artistic atmosphere, embrace the purity and serenity of life in between dimensions.

03 Shifting & Quiet

A row of transparent skylights is introduced in the open-air seating area, creating a luminous entrance with a glass roof pool. The waves are reflected in the walls and space, giving the space an artistic effect in the contrast between light and dark, rigid and flexible, moving and still. THE STAIRCASE SPACE ON THE LEFT IS QUIET AND CEREMONIAL. ON THE RIGHT ATRIUM, THE ILLUMINATION ON THE WALL ON THE RIGHT IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING, AND THE LIGHT IS SENT TO THE WALLS THROUGH THE ROOFTOP POOL, FORMING SPARKLING RIPPLES. Up the stairs, each floor presents different variations of light, one step by step, one move, and the space achieves a kind of harmony in tranquility and dynamism! The aesthetic gene for modern art spaces is to be born with light, reduce complexity, inject warmth, and give a light and flexible look. Warm wood elements and reasonable light create a comfortable sleeping environment that combines the use of materials and lifestyle to enhance the feeling of tactile comfort.

04 Humanities & Fun

The study room is both the owner's office and a place for quiet contemplation and meditation. In addition to traditional cultural attributes, it is also necessary to create an atmosphere of pure tranquility. Warm wooden walls and floors, hand-sewn saddle-leather table chairs, contemporary artwork on the walls. It conveys the sophistication and wisdom of the literary Jacket. In such a space, the quiet mind focuses on learning and thinking, allowing the mind to flow through the space, allowing the space to gradually fall into silence. The tea room enjoys a unique interior, soft light, warm materials, brew a pot of black tea, enjoy a quiet afternoon, you can play the piano, read the Golden Bible, unruly ears, and work without problems!

05 Temperament & Temperature

Dark interwoven light shades, delicate soft tones, natural materials with a natural touch, detail in every detail, not only guarantee the atmosphere of the interior space, but also create an elegant and quiet aesthetic space in the studio.
