Located in an aristocratic residential area of Brasilia, Brazil, this villa is part of a complex of buildings built on a farm. It is large enough to build four houses on a plot of about 2,000 square meters per plot, as well as a public area with roads, sidewalks, squares and spacious landscaped greenery.
The landscape of the design does not distinguish roads, sidewalks and squares in the public area in front of the house. With the exception of the green area, all the paved areas are for children and the elderly for recreation and for the small number of vehicles that circulate there. Implementation, complete and empty volumes, as well as the scale adopted, stem from such a concept: the architectural quest for a uniform height with the existing site, the already formed natural species, and the lush landscape of the entire farm.
It is a single-storey house surrounded by lush greenery in the surrounding area and has a walkway connecting this large public area and the main access to the residence. These panels, like loose sheets in concrete and wood exposed outside, do not reinforce the expression of the building, but rather, they reenact the intimate conversations that can take place between exquisite architecture and the lush greenery that surrounds it. As a group of houses inserted into the farm, the private space of each dwelling does not require extensive protection between the private space and the surrounding direct area. Do not want to put obstacles or obstacles between them.
