Osome｜20 floor, wonderful use of long rainbow glass, cozy three-room apartment!

The Osome studio team has developed a 65 ㎡ three-bedroom apartment project in a Stalinist building on the Volontsskaya embankment.

Since the house was built, the layout of this apartment has not changed significantly: there is a small linear kitchen with a gas stove, two narrow bathrooms, three separate rooms with wide windowsills and a long corridor. The task of the designer is to build a practical, bright, modern apartment, create all the necessary areas for a young musical family and find space for a piano and five guitars. The kitchen and living room are combined into a spacious multi-purpose space, providing sliding compartments for partitioning. THE FUNCTIONAL NICHE IS TRANSFORMED INTO A CABINET FOR STORING A RANGE OF PORCELAIN, A ROW OF HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES, A SPACIOUS LAUNDRY AND A GUITAR DISPLAY CABINET IN THE LIVING ROOM.

The bedroom area is designed as a private area, equipped with everything you need to relax. THE SLIDING CORRUGATED GLASS DRESSING ROOM COMPARTMENT KEEPS THE RHYTHM OF THE PLASTERBOARD BEHIND THE HEADBOARD. Based on the sketch of the studio, a double bed with black trim, rounded corners and an enlarged size was made. On the left is a graphic chain table with decorative wall lights, and on the right is a cabinet, which is custom made. The wide window sill here was transformed into a place to relax, paneled and equipped with soft pillows. For the design of the load-bearing structure that determines the height of the opening of the living room, the designers used rhythmic plaster decorative elements to add vitality to the interior. Thanks to a single natural range and decorative materials, the apartment looks harmonious as a whole.
