Grey Palace Country House is located on the outskirts of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Surrounded by rice fields, this makes the landscape the main focus of this country villa. This country villa consists of two floors, divided into a public area and a private area. The three main areas of the kitchen, restaurant and living room are located on the second floor, while the private area is on the first floor. The purpose of the common area on the second floor is to create an outdoor terrace living that allows one to experience the surrounding views from a higher perspective. Although the public area is located on the second floor, the main entrance is designed with a doorway that serves as a transition between public and private passages.

The design of this country villa focuses on creating elements of tropical earth tones such as wood, stone and concrete. Due to its location, the elevation design has solid elements that provide privacy and security for the villa. After entering the private area, there is a courtyard, which is designed for a large lawn full of tropical plants, and there is also a swimming pool, which serves as the attraction of this villa. The swimming pool is designed to be connected to the common area via an outdoor staircase. The second section is designed as a passageway for public areas to be accessed from a long staircase leading to the main entrance. When we enter the villa, there is an entrance hall that connects the storage room, the studio and the service passage. Living - The dining area is designed as an open layout, with transparent elements allowing people to enjoy the surrounding views.
