The basis of the new layout solution for the apartment is to create a spacious multifunctional room facing the street view and move the bedroom from a practical space to a quiet courtyard. With this change, Kuklica Smerek architekti created a spacious living space for the owners. It is also a great place for family activities and leisure.

A unique element of the apartment is semicircular curtains, creating a “room in the room”. This section is suitable for children to spend the night occasionally, ensuring the privacy and comfort of all family members. The main visual element of the apartment is a continuous wardrobe located throughout the apartment, with skylights above which allow natural light into the hallway and bathroom. THE CLOSET FACES THE HALLWAY AND LIVING ROOM, SEPARATING THESE SPACES AND COMBINING FUNCTIONS SUCH AS KITCHEN, STORAGE ROOM, LIBRARY AND CLOSET. The main space in the evening is also achieved through a non-traditional way of placing light sources. Hidden mirrors on the built-in furniture indirectly illuminate the space, creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

Replace the partition with glass concrete blocks, creating a visual connection between the bedroom and the bathroom, thus obtaining another source of natural light. Owners can adjust the level of visual connection by separating the closet and translucent walls from the bedroom with curtains.
The choice of material has the characteristics of a natural form, with minimal surface treatment. The natural shade of colorless plaster, stainless steel, concrete, oak floors and furniture is chosen for its authenticity and simplicity.
