The vibrant landscape of Moscow prompted designer Yulia Barshevskaya to come up with the idea of the project — supporting a panoramic view of the city, but countering the hustle and bustle of Moscow with an interior full of calm and tranquility. “Panoramic windows and views of Moscow from the 50th floor determine the main concept of this project,” says designer Yulia. “I want to keep the panorama of the city and use natural materials, beautiful textures and calm natural tones to create an oasis of calm and tranquility.”
The customer is a 26-year-old girl who is in charge of the banking department, demanding more storage space and a comfortable workplace. For her, functionality is a priority. A special desire is not to use warm pale yellow wood, so Julia carefully selected soft, cold-toned panels for the kitchen and wooden floors. Yellow is the customer's favorite color, and blue is her favorite color, which is also reflected in the interior decoration. Despite the small area, six functional zones can be organized in the apartment - a corridor, a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a work area, a wardrobe. Two rooms plus a bathroom are designed in the layout of the developer. The designers removed the small corridor leading to the bedroom, moved the entrance to the toilet from the room to the corridor, thereby expanding the area of the dressing room.
The bedroom is especially successful, the layout of which allows the owners of the apartment to enjoy the views of Moscow from the bed and work area. The most practical storage space can be made here: a shelf is designed for one of the walls, which simultaneously serves as a dressing table and a TV area. “In such a small apartment, everything is spotless, I hide all the functional details as much as possible and use built-in furniture,” says Yulia. In the closet in the hallway, in addition to the hangers, there is a washing machine. The opposite cabinet is closed with a distribution cabinet, under which open shelves are used to place keys, phones, glasses, etc. little things that need to be placed when entering the door. The bathroom has many lockers behind the blank and glass curtain walls, but they are not striking because they blend in with the color of the walls and are part of the spatial architecture.
