As Taiwan's tech powerhouse, Hsinchu has always been a representative of innovation and a sense of the future. However, while the high-tech industry is booming, how to incorporate natural elements into living spaces to create warm and futuristic homes is a focus of attention for designers.
J House From CJ.DE Design, is an apartment in a minimalist style, the overall design concept is around Sand converted to silicon This symbolic process. It is not only a symbol of the Hsinchu technology industry, but also the design soul of the space. And the most striking thing is that it is more than Central Suspended Silicon Chandelier, its structure changes with light shadow, cleverly represented Dialogue on the History of Geology and the Future of Technology。
This apartment is more than just a living space, but more like a house about Material, Light, Time and Design Glossary Exploration. Find out more about it below How J House combines deposited sandstone, geometric silica and light layers to create a unique living space。
The walls of J House are not very common in painting or woodwork, but the choice is Depositional Sandstone。 This material itself comes with Natural Texture and Horizontal VariationEach texture is like an imprint left by time, giving the space more than a year's worth of warmth.
The core highlight of the apartment is undoubtedly this special SILICON CHANDELIER。 Its inspiration comes from Computer chip and mineral crystal structure, COMBINING GEOMETRICALLY ARRANGED SILICON CRYSTALS INTO A LAMP, EXPOSES AN AESTHETIC BETWEEN NATURE AND TECHNOLOGY.
J House's design approach, and Japanese architect Kengo Kuma The concept has its own unique counterparts, especially in Create an atmosphere with natural materials and light In a way.
At J House, lighting isn't just for lighting, it's a key element for creating ambiance and enhancing the living experience.
The silicon crystal itself has a strong sense of technology that makes it easy to make the space seem too cold. But when the light passes through the silicon crystal, it produces a soft diffusing effect, giving the whole apartment a warm and superficial glow.
Designers think that the change in light is like a “three-dimensional poem,” where the light refracts between silicon crystals, each ray of light as if it were the footsteps of a person chasing a dream. This makes J House not just a residence, but a space that resonates emotionally.
Depositional Sandstone Natural texture and a sense of surface, able to give the space a more natural atmosphere and make the light change richer.
Suitable, by choosing Natural materials, simple lines and soft lighting, can create a similar atmosphere even in ordinary homes.
No, because J House used it. Warm materials and indirect lightingto keep the space warm.
