Daschamay | 21 Floor, Minimalist Aesthetic Apartment in Kazan

Daria Khanova and Azat Khanov, designers of Daschamay Studio, made a spatial transformation of this 70 ㎡ apartment. This is a unique project located in the center of Kazan. Planning solutions, minimalism and no visual noise, comfortable furniture, plenty of light brought by striped glass, and rewards in the form of summer breakfasts and open terraces in the evenings - everything in the interior obeys the style and lifestyle of the owner.

The designer transformed the small living room into an open and bright space. In addition, it is necessary to design practical premises: laundry, dressing room, food storage room. The basis of the new layout is divided into two areas: the functional core located deep inside the apartment — bathroom, closet, laundry, storage room — and the main living space distributed along the glass.

To enhance the image of the overall space, so that all the rooms are visually interconnected and smoothly flow with each other, the designers did not separate the living room and bedroom with blank walls. Instead, it is replaced by a transparent sliding compartment. A view of the main area can be seen from the lobby. The designer thought out the view frames in advance and built volumes based on them along the axis. It is important for designers that the structure of the internal space is clear and harmoniously manifested from any angle.
