Paul Clout Design wants to ensure that the house exudes an effortless sense of ease, where people can enjoy the beauty of nature in sophisticated and thoughtful contemporary home products. The house is more than just a shelter, it interacts with the existing streetscape and retreats from the site boundary, creating a softened buffer between the private and public areas. Featuring soft tones, natural textures and hues, the residence exudes a tranquil, spa-like atmosphere. The structure sits on a narrow and linear site and adopts a clear form and functional response, presenting a striking silhouette. The integration of the swimming pool and outdoor area embodies a playful touch in the planning.
