Villa Wabi-Sabi is located in an immigrant canyon above Salt Lake City, designed for young families with unique elevated canyon views and a rare and direct connection to nature. The design is considered to be an expression of static and dynamic elements, referencing the relationships between mountains, vegetation, and wildlife found on the site. The word “Wabi-Sabi” is an ancient philosophical creed of Japanese aesthetic culture that contains imperfections, imperfections, and ephemeral things. It embraces simple and honest expressions that are humble things in our world that convey beauty as they weather and age.
