An Elegant Beachfront Lifestyle
Coastal Manor is a high-end residential area located on the shores of a charming and original bay in Gdynsk, the Netherlands. The Manor Hotel consists of four apartments, a large green area that occupies almost half of the total investment area and a multifunctional public exhibition hall, where residents have unlimited access to the sauna, gym, children's play area and lounge area. The land is separated by the promenade of three cities, and there is only one charming natural park, above which is full of pine trees peculiar to the Polish coast. Although there is no direct sea view, you can feel the proximity of the waters through the breath of fresh air and the surrounding botanical area. Nationwide, this unique geographical location and its microclimate became the backdrop to the design, providing direct inspiration throughout the design process.
To improve the uniformity and integrity of the project, designers chose the most minimalist approach, focusing on the most basic things and discarding everything unnecessary. It is hoped to emphasize open, clean spaces filled with sunlight and natural materials, as well as their respective attributes and original characteristics. This decision can also be clearly demonstrated by exposed, formed concrete building walls that are poured on site in accordance with the guidelines of the designers.
To create a feeling of peace and tranquility, the designers chose a calm, unsaturated shade, the shades of which range from protein to warm sandy gray. Handpainted plaster on walls and doors, and sandblasted glass, white oak and custom furniture used on floors, thick fabrics, and tumbled limestone were chosen for their noble, unembedded natural look. High spreads are deliberately avoided due to their strong aggressiveness. THESE AMBER-LIKE DETAILS ARE CUSTOMIZED BASED ON GOLD-COLORED RESIN AND ARE EYE-CATCHING THROUGHOUT THE INVESTMENT PROCESS, ESPECIALLY IN TERMS OF APARTMENTS AND FLOOR NUMBERS. This curious move is also a subtle nod to the city's heritage, as Gutensk was once known for its amber craftsmanship.
