The sandstone base is connected to the area's natural rock strata and streetscape history as the homes overlook the expansive surroundings. A tribute to the sculptures of local surfing legend Duke Kahanamoku, the upper level sees cast bronze elevations encircling the form, corresponding to the fluidity and shape of the waves.
