This is not only about the practicality and economics of the building, but also a deep insight into the real needs of the residents. Our beliefs go far beyond the theoretical proclamations that cater to market aesthetics, chase fashion or be overly aggressive. Instead, we're inspired by practical, actionable design to sing a song about design that's close to the essence of life. In this creative process, scale and proportion become the key elements that shape the true soul of the building. Walk through the courtyard, take the stairs, feel the comfort and ease of the leisurely walk of the garden. The spatial rhythm evoked by the size of the steps marks the home's warm space. The large suspended rafter and the curtain wall combine to create an evenly proportioned outdoor porch that keeps out the wind and makes it easy to welcome visitors, while cleverly hiding the front door, preserving the privacy and safety of the family.

Spacing the interior, the dimensions of the entrance hall take into account the real needs of family members and visitors. Properly place clothes, change seats, leave room for physical comfort, while handling trifles such as delivery, children's cars, umbrellas and hygiene. Together, these daily routines create the first impression of home. Walk through the entrance hall and enter the living room and relax, and a spacious space towering up to 6 meters is presented in front of you. In the southeast corner, the floor-to-ceiling glass pushes the space high. To alleviate this feeling of pressure, draw a prominent wall panel with 2.4 m horizontal lines to balance the overall space. Introducing a transparent gallery that connects seamlessly to the restaurant, uses the height of the view of the sofa seats as a reference, lowers the horizontal line and leads the view into the distance. By setting up some small openings, the large enclosed space becomes transparent, enriching the overall visual experience and bringing more comfort to everyday life.

At the same time, by taking a deeper look at residents' living habits, we unearth the precise scales hidden deep in their minds. For example, in stair design, we consider not only the height of the floor, but also the height and step of the family. Accurately calculate the dimensions of the internal stairs, the space reserved for the stairs and the net height dimensions, ensuring the harmony of the stairs with the overall space, ensuring both safe and convenient use and pleasant to the body. Decisions related to door and window openings, handrail heights, walkway widths, etc. are equally carefully crafted to genuinely meet the actual needs of the project and its occupants, rather than blindly following market trends or accommodating theoretical positions. This is our persistent pursuit of building authenticity. Against the backdrop of global climate change and energy change, we deeply recognize the critical role the construction industry plays in sustainable development. At this time of increasing challenge, we focus our design not only on improving living comfort, but also on reducing carbon emissions and reducing energy consumption. Through technological means and innovative thinking, our designs not only meet the needs of owners, but also respond positively to the global call for environmental protection. Here are some of the strategies we have adopted in our design to drive more sustainable development in the construction industry.

The near-square shape of the house and the layout of the stairs minimize heat dissipation in winter. We improve thermal performance by upgrading building enclosures as an entry point. Upgrade the exterior wall insulation material from 80mm thick XPS to 120mm thick PU, reducing the heat transfer coefficient to 0.19W/ ㎡ ·K; the roof adopts 160mm thick PU with a heat transfer coefficient of 0.13W/ ㎡ ·K. At the same time, a complete replacement of the exterior windows brings the heat transfer coefficient down to 1.1W/ ㎡ ·K. Together, these improvements have improved the energy efficiency of the building, increasing the energy efficiency of the building by 43% compared to the previous renovation.

With a focus on the application of natural ventilation, CFD simulation achieves an overall air exchange rate of 3.8 times /h in hot air ventilation, even up to 7 times/h when considering the wind pressure coupling effect. Natural lighting helps to save lighting energy while facilitating residents' interaction with nature. In the renovation, we paid special attention to the fine lighting design of the ground floor and the local space, using design methods such as sunken courtyards and thin skylights. These measures not only achieve energy-efficient lighting, but also create a pleasant space experience for residents that blend in with nature.
