The house cleverly combines tradition with contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by the vibrant chalets of a historic fishing village, the design captures the essence of the colourful little streets. Capturing the essence of the sea breeze in the building, this home becomes a family oasis. IN KEEPING WITH THE RHYTHM AND POWER OF THE BALTIC SEA, THIS FAMILY'S EXTERIOR IS CAREFULLY DESIGNED TO HARMONIOUSLY SYNCHRONIZE WITH THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. The home's careful positioning and overall layout pays homage to the ocean, allowing residents to feel its tranquility and vitality, even from afar. Every building detail is thought to encapsulate panoramic views, fresh breezes and vivid coastal lights, transforming this building into a living image of the Baltic coastline

Guided by the town's building codes, the house features a double-pitched roof that embodies the language of coastal architecture. Floor-to-ceiling windows not only punctuate the building, but also offer views of the sea from the cozy courtyard. The wooden structure of the building is a recognition of the local tradition, not only at its front end. The design uses materials such as wood, chipboard, concrete and metal to weave a narrative story based on Latvian sentiment and the pristine beauty of the coast.

In addition to aesthetics, the family also integrates a recirculation system, emphasizing a commitment to sustainable practices. The loft room, designed specifically for guests or children, adds a layer of versatile design. Every element of the interior is intentional, not superfluous, and carefully selected to emphasize the purity of the design. The choice of materials, such as plywood and wood, further emphasizes this simple design language. The landscape of the sea and coastal meadows enriches the overall experience, transforming the originally simple design into a deep connection with nature.

The sauna is an example of the fusion of architecture and the natural landscape. Spacious glass walls, a carefully designed architectural option that is not only a window, but a passage between interior and exterior, man and nature. The wildness of the sea captured through this transparent border accentuates the minimalist design within. Every wave, every ebb and flow resonates with the design principles of the room, giving both a vibrant connection and a serene silence.
