Things are simple and beautiful

The heart is rich and joyful

Discard complex decorative elements

Home in the purity of the heart desires

Traces of original life, returning to the fullness of the heart

Home as a collection of life carriers and beauty, stereoscopic representations of the unique and rich life state of the inhabitants. This detachment from the essence of space, in emotional and spiritual dimensions or thick or light, is seen by designer Yuan Jie as “traces of life”.
The construction process of the house is also in accordance with the instructions of the chapter. It is, in other words, deliberate design, not as it is called: to reflect their ideal life into reality according to the preferences of the inhabitants. The various spatial elements such as structure, color, material, light shade and other elements create a unique and touching base color in the home.

01 Pure and Extreme

An Aesthetic Philosophy for Lightweight Writing

It is the home of a young couple who have a light insight into life, translated by designers into refined structural lines and soft ambient colors. THE SPACIOUS LAYOUT OF THE FOUR FLOORS UP AND DOWN DOES NOT PURSUE MINIMALISM DUE TO CURRENT STYLE TRENDS, BUT RETURNS TO THE ESSENCE OF LIFE, COMBINING MODERNITY AND MINIMALISM IN THE PURE FORM OF HOME. The living room is located on one level and concentrates the core public attributes of the family scene. The modular classic sofa that can be flexibly combined provides the best view of the courtyard view for everyday leisure. Its smooth, streamlined shape is also elegantly intersected—with ample volume, balanced visuals, and no clumsiness, for a flexible and comfortable design expression.

Light shadows move inwards from the floorboards, while the background wall is leveled by the material. The rough texture of concrete hints at the border, and a set of acoustic devices that are both functional and decorative is the visual focus. The original feeling of life transitions from nature to delicate qualities, such as the “waterlike texture” of the concrete finish that lights up the concrete, and the wonderful music that flows with sex flows around the day, comforting the heart. The color of the space is in accordance with the preferences of the residents, showing the desire for a relaxed and comfortable life in the elegant room. A few black colors are used to decorate the area and enrich the space to the right level, creating simple yet textural color combinations that leave the home free from the constraints of style and have the ultimate in confidence. The black leather covered steel wire pulls up the wire-shaped stair railing, the lightweight shape of which breaks the space barrier, and opens a conversation with a natural stone barrier to a lightweight structure. Space carries the philosophy of life and beauty, achieving a balance of light and atmosphere between relaxation.

02 Rich and concise

Carve life traces of comfort and practice

The simple dining kitchen area contrasts with the living room, and the design of Nakajima combined with the dining table gives a more complete sense of functionality. The courtyard views dress up cooking time through floor-to-ceiling windows. Three meals are infused with real fireworks throughout the seasons, and the shallow traces of life underlie the family's leisurely daily routine. Concrete crossbeams connect the living room with the dining room, with a touch of roughness and originality in the delicate life scene, and the space blends well with the different stylistic elements and finds its own unique “trace”. The senior room is also located on the first floor, separated by a passageway, and meets the aesthetics and lifestyle of the elderly in a unified modern and concise design context. The tranquil grassy landscape is accompanied by greenery, and the natural beauty of the wind is a relaxing backdrop to this life. The staircase runs through the lower four floors and is the home's core transportation hub. To alleviate the narrow space constraints of the home model, designers started from the structure and materials, wrapping the steps in rock boards and using 8mm thick steel handrails to scale the pavement experience and magnify the spatial effect. The sleek recesses also show minimalism in the details, with lights arranged in the structural gaps at the top right and bottom left, creating the illusion of light passing through the floor.

The second floor space consists of a master bedroom and a children's room that has not yet been activated. Textured wall paint and wash lines go hand in hand, the radiance of the ceiling imbues a gentle expression in the rational-driven aesthetic, and at the junction of the structure and the intersection of the lines present an unexpected aesthetic of light. The hanging wall forms a nested relationship between the cloakroom and the main bedroom. The ground beam further hints at the boundary between the two, but the flowing air still highlights the overall character of the space. Detail obscures design ingenuity. The background wall matches the concise white walls in a semi-water ripple shape, which is more in line with the spatial attributes of a comfortable sleep and attempts to change in a minimalist design to meet the aesthetic expectations of the residents. And hidden behind an invisible door, the layers of the wall combined with the ceiling... all kinds of specific and subtle details that combine the richness of life with an atmosphere that is different from any other space and home.

03 Solitude and companionship

Build a family routine that works just right

Loneliness and companionship are different ways of opening up family life. There is no interaction in public areas. Private spaces are quiet and elegant. The third space between the two should preserve the interaction scene at the right interval, connecting the warm moments of life and creating lasting and new family memories. The negative one layer plays the role of transition space by creating a natural connection with the negative two layers. Box-like structures that explore outwards make interaction even more fun — whether it's people's conversations or space's misalignments and nests, getting a look at the right place in a variety of unusual ways. The black glass half-wall, also embellished with colour, gives the negative two-tier leisure area a tense backdrop to both levels and structures. Beneath the boxy structure, a compact mini bar fills the space. The Dongshi Bar Table builds a fast-paced movement, with natural textures and a fluid feel to enhance the relaxed atmosphere of the scene. Whether it's indulging in drinks in the family room or about 35 friends talking about wine, the hustle and bustle settles into a happy day, and the memories are polished by the years into flashy memories. THE LEISURE AREA IS SURROUNDED BY A FLOOR, AND A SET OF RELAXING SOFAS AND STYLED SINGLE CHAIRS CREATE A COMFORTABLE AND ENTERTAINING ATMOSPHERE, AND THE OWNER'S PASSION FOR VIDEO WILL BE GREATLY SATISFIED IN THIS SMALL AREA. The tea table is just under the roof, and the light brings a rich change to the simple scene. The shelves on one side are empty, and a kind of life that is constantly filled with residents.

The richness inherent in minimalism is a faithful restoration of the “traces of life” and a lot of uncertainty to the space — an increase in occupant life experience, changes in family structure, and changes in life status that drive lifestyle changes. And a home without limits is a gift of life for young residents to give themselves and the time to come...
