Inspired by the fluid space aesthetics and Suzhou garden movement espoused by architect Mis Vandero, Li Youyu Interior Design has always focused on modern minimalist private house design and research, constantly deepening and practicing the “openness and freedom of space” and “spatial fluidity” theories. In the new work of the Korean Friends Home of Paul and Yuebin, Foshan, Yu-Yue Li adheres to the concept of “total space, natural interaction”, enhancing the interaction of humanity, emotion and space, and magnifying the intangible emotional concentration in the tangible spatial structure.

“Designers have always believed that the design of a private home does not require a strict definition of the function and use of space, but should allow owners to freely define the relationships of space based on their actual use needs. These include the relationship between people and space, the relationship between form and function, the relationship between structure and space, the relationship between parents and children, and so on. The designer connects all public spaces with a nine-meter-long island floor as the core. The visual flow through the living room, study, kitchen, multi-function area and children's room is perfectly suited to the needs of the owner and family to accompany each other, achieving a state of pure minimalism. Close to the Peninsula Ecological Park, the mountains are refracted by the lake, and the flow of light dazzles the interior, and as time passes slowly and silks in, the scenery is different every second, like a scroll unfolding by Xu Xu. The sofa-toned fabric sofas are decorated with greenery. Under the green plant cabinet there is a row of cut-out bookcases to accommodate greenery, as well as picture books and toys. A warm scene of children sitting on a wooden floor reading a book can be seen when the mother is busy at the dining bar.

Pure white gives a clean and warm feeling, and pure white also gives modern home design more room for imagination. A plain white bookcase is arranged on the wall behind the sofa. The simple lines and the elegant lighting design reflect the conciseness and richness of artistic fun. There is a storage cabinet at the bottom, and children can step on the cabinet to get books high above. The design is full of details, which greatly increases the experience of living in a beautiful space. The solid wood cabinets also feature children's decorations and scented candles, adding a unique and fun subtle twist to the whole fresh and elegant space. The finish of the dining bar surface has a warm and simple texture. The texture, color and light blend into an elegant rhythm under the mapping of the top lights. The base of the dining bar is made of natural marble, and the texture of the natural carvings touches nature and exudes a crystal clear texture. THE SUN SLIPPED THROUGH THE SLITS OF THE SHUTTERS, AND THE ART INSTALLATION “BAMBOO DRAGONFLY” SWAYED IN THE BREEZE, MOVING QUIETLY, OOZING WITH VIBRANT VITALITY.

02 Smile in the Spring Breeze

“Character”, “Culture”, “Elegance”, “Ideal”, “Freedom” are all unique elements that express the spatial occupant's self. Between the study room and the cloak, an electrically controlled fogged glass exit door is set up, which allows you to switch the transparency of the fogged glass according to the use of the scene. The whole study is based on the textured sea blue tones, using natural light and natural wind as a medium, combining elements such as the sky, earth, mountains and lakes. The interior environment blends well with the natural scenery, creating an ideal view for a home.

In the opinion of Mr. Lee, all you have to do at home is the flow of vision, the flow of movement, and the interaction of parent-child relationships. When the hostess prepares meals in the 9-meter kitchen island, she can always chat with the husband sitting in the living room or study, while also taking care of her daughter in the multifunction room or children's room. The line of sight between family members flows smoothly and is no longer restricted by the isolated home structure of the traditional division. Luxurious housing is not the end of the design, it makes everyone feel like they want to go home. The custom-made private dressing room conveys the aspiration of modern women for the refined life. It witnesses the transformation of different identities and statuses of women, embodies the personality, beauty and spirit of the inhabitants.

The door of the master bedroom extends from the wall into the corridor in the form of an invisible door, separating the master and the bedroom. A double-sided mirrored door is also arranged between the Guardian and the corridor. The mirror introduces the lake-covered mountains outside into the corridor and into the main bedroom. Even during leisure time, you can see the beauty of the outdoors. In front of the mirror door, there is also a hand-drawn drawing of the painting “The Sea” by designer Li Youyuu. A serene deep sea surface, a clear and clear sky, and a colorful picture of the sea is mixed with the sea breeze from his home town of Busan. The sun is subtle, the sea breeze is slightly salty, and the faint gloom of the countryside can be felt.

03 Flying Flower Dance

The multi-function area is separated by two wooden doors with a cut-out grille, morning dusk, light through wooden doors, rendering glare on the floor and cabinets. There is the tranquility of “shadowy sideways, dark scent floats”, and the tranquility of “the same dust, and the time of shudder”. The multi-purpose area is decorated with climbing walls from side to top, and colorful climbing rocks and grassy green walls reflect the interest. The other wall is decorated with white cabinets and grass green display cabinets, which correspond to the colors of the walls and cushions. The overall color of the children's room is full of color, the green bed background wall is full of spring, and the lights in the back add a touch of warmth and purity. Children can recreate the free movement of the characters in the space, and the cabinet between the bedroom and the study has a door installed, giving the space a sense of movement and more possibilities. For 9 years, Lee Yu-yu Interior Design has been practicing their scalable ideas and conclusions about spatial fluidity in their practice and applying their flexibility in project design. IN FOSHAN POLI AND YUYUE RIVER, LI YU-YU CONSCIOUSLY KEPT SOME BLURRED ZONE BETWEEN THE WALL AND THE DOOR, LET THE REAL SITUATION OF LIFE DETERMINE THE BEST USE, DESIGN A NEW IDEAL HOME FOR RESIDENTS, DESIGN A NEW IDEAL HOME FOR RESIDENTS, WITH AN ORDINARY HUMAN EXPRESSION AND EMOTIONAL OUTLOOK, EVOKE THE INNER RESONANCE OF EXOTIC OWNERS, INTERPRETS A new level of minimalism emerges.
