This small apartment is designed for a young girl. Designer Irina Vashchenko describes her client as an energetic, proactive, hard-working person. Girls want a calm and clean indoor space where they can relax after a busy day. Planning requirements: a bedroom with a dressing room, a kitchen-living room with a small sofa, of course, a bathroom and a hallway.

Adhering to the concept of calm interior design, the designer chose surfaces of natural colors and natural textures. The walls are painted in light beige color. Floors in the kitchen-living room and bedroom with dressing room feature wood-effect quartz vinyl tiles with a striking glyph pattern. The choice of this material is due to the practicality of the material — designers do not want to share a small kitchen and living room with different floor coverings, and due to its moisture-proof and dirt-repellent properties, quartz vinyl is suitable for laying in this area. The floor in the hallway and bathroom is the same tile with a waterstone pattern. The combination of these areas is visually for the same goal — without dividing space.

The bed in the bedroom has a soft board and a plasterboard bed. The latter fix the soft headboard on both sides. “This is not a random decision, but a conscious technique to visually enlarge the room by creating active horizontal partitions of the walls,” says the designers of the project. In addition to the dressing room, the designer has provided some storage systems. In the hallway there is a wardrobe for storing jackets, in order to visually reduce the burden on space, they made a compartment with a seat and a console. At the bottom there is space to place the hostess's everyday shoes.

The walls of the bathroom have a calm shade with tiles with a stone texture. There are also accent materials, which are selected according to their texture. These are the trim panels of the living room area (the storage system next to the sofa is done with them), and the plaster panel in the TV area imitates rough stones.
