Degree Design 40sqm Cool Black Style Apartment Apartment

Designed by local company Degree Design, this apartment in Tainan uses dark tones of various materials and textures to create a relaxing and relaxing atmosphere. This 132 ㎡ apartment is located on the 22nd floor of a building in downtown Tainan. The designers use an open layout, where you can see the canals flowing into the sea and the sunset in the evening outside the window. Degree Design wants to create a home where customers can laze in the ocean on a sofa or windowsill, or relax while watching a flowing canal.

The space breaks away from the traditional framework in both layout and color. Degree Design uses a range of black and dark materials as the focus of the design, creating a calm, joyful atmosphere. The common area has simple partitions and two-way sofas to make the living room feel more open. Cabinets separating the public and private areas hide the bed, which makes the whole space a more open and more functional layout. As daylight and shadows change, the atmosphere in the space also changes.

Degree Design uses a lot of black in paints, cement paints, and wood, and uses a lot of stainless steel and natural stone throughout the space. Sofas, carpets, curtains, wooden floors and dining tables are all custom made. Designers love the natural texture of wood and the coolness of stainless steel — it creates a contrast that brings a truly warm and modern feel to the space.
