The villa is named after its famous address on Lansell Road in Toorak, Melbourne, which is considered one of the most elite and outstanding streets in the suburb, with a total of four floors accessible by stairs or a built-in lift. It has a gym and sauna on the lower level, a luxury family theater and a six-car garage. Lansell Road's highlights also include a glass-fronted cellar, roof gardens and two modern kitchens — a perfect match for chef Shannon Bennett's home.

Abundant natural light and a glimpse of the outdoor landscape bring green plants to life, making the formerly confined rustic space active. The interior manages to remain calm but eye-catching in its retained monochrome palette and furniture. This purposeful design will once again focus on the texture and atmosphere of the home. Its presence permeates all four levels — high ceilings and custom fine woodwork further accentuate this magnificent pure interior.

The project is twin-built by a high-end Melbourne architect that embodies luxury, with curves embodied throughout the home. The winding staircase, reminiscent of the curves of the natural street in which the dwelling is located, brings drama to the space. The oval skylight injects light from above, further enhancing this by highlighting the winding lines and tactile material properties of the sculptural form. Bold arcs challenge modern design concepts that are strongly inclined to the straight today. Lansell Road adopts a curved shape that enhances its classic elegance.
