Zozaya Arquitectos Natural, Tranquil Seaview Villa with Pacific Ocean View from Mexico

Zozaya Arquitectos reveals all the benefits of coastal tropical style in the Casa Mateo project in Mexico. Located on one of the highest points of the peninsula, this sea-view villa is the Pacific Ocean to the west and jungle to the east.

The construction of the villa blurs the boundaries between the spaces and harmoniously blends into the surrounding landscape: an outdoor terrace leading to a tranquil landscaped pool, a walkway leading to an open-air seating area — the designers strive to create all the conditions for enjoying nature every day. Casa Mateo can be reached by a steep road leading to the top of the mountain. The villa is divided into two floors on the structure. The entrance area starts from the stairs between the two huge blocks and ends in the central courtyard. The surface of the pool is mirror-like calm.

The two connected buildings help to separate private and public areas: one contains three bedrooms, the other contains a kitchen, living room and restaurant, with sliding glass walls leading to the terrace. The master bedroom has magnificent jungle and sea views. In the construction of the villa, concrete was used, supplemented with local stone and steel elements. Natural wood boards and decor made of natural materials help to bring warmth to the atmosphere of the villa. Plantings of lots of greenery, including on the roof, help to blend into the landscape of the villa. In addition, the house has a wastewater treatment system that can reuse resources and reduce the impact on the environment.
