Faced with today's ever-expanding and thriving urban development, designing homes in limited spaces while meeting diverse functional needs is a challenging task for architects. SkyGarden House is a terraced villa in Nha Trang, located in central Vietnam (an area characterized by a tropical climate, evident in the dry and wet season), on a 100 m² non-square plot of land; this poses a challenge to the design process.

SkyGarden House's main features include a living room, kitchen and a bedroom on the ground floor, and two bedrooms on the second floor; the master bedroom is on the third floor. These spaces are connected by the stairs and the open space in the middle of the house. One of the advantages of this house design is that it is able to naturalize the living space. Introducing natural light through large glass and skylights above the stairs, as well as many glass doors, the design not only creates an artistic panorama, but also significantly reduces the reliance on artificial lighting during the day. This not only reduces energy consumption, but also produces a unique light effect that connects the indoor space closely with nature, avoiding monotonous atmosphere.

Harmony with nature is embodied in the layout of green plants around the bedroom and sanitary area, simulating a green garden. This not only reduces outdoor dust, improves air quality, but also creates a lively, fresh landscape from indoors. In the luxurious space of the top-floor master bedroom, a cool green paradise unfolds like a vibrant scroll, mesmerizing from any angle. This garden is not only the unique focus of the house, but also transforms the master bedroom area into a sophisticated and unique leisure paradise for the homeowner. Thanks to the large glass walls, the interior and the outdoor garden blend seamlessly, creating a sense of infinite openness. This not only shows the excellent surrounding landscape, but also enhances comfort and the connection people have with nature.

THE BENEFITS OF USING GLASS MATERIALS ARE UNDENIABLE; HOWEVER, DUE TO THE HEAT-ABSORBING PROPERTIES OF THE GLASS LAYER, IT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO DISSIPATE HEAT INSIDE THE INTERNAL SPACE. To meet this challenge, the solution is to divide the glass into several layers, leaving gaps between the layers. This allows air to circulate freely through the gap, promoting internal heat release, while introducing external air to cool the interior space. This method ensures ventilation of the house and is part of the architect's naturalized method of air conditioning.

The exterior design of SkyGarden House is concise and unique, with the focus on the extended greenery. Trees are strategically placed around the ground floor to create a view seen from the inside, as a cool green barrier, avoiding direct views of the view from the outside, ensuring the privacy of the bedroom area. The remaining space around the living room is decorated with a surrounding pool, adding convenience to the house. In addition to offering impressive views of the living area and kitchen area, this surrounding pool also warms the indoor space in hot weather. The interior of the house is designed in a minimalist style, showing conciseness and using warm tones to create a comfortable and luxurious space. A flexible combination of simple and effective functional elements highlights every detail. In addition, the use of reflective glass not only enhances aesthetics, but also expands the field of view, promotes a sense of openness and connection with the outside world. By implementing a variety of green building solutions in modern designs, making the most of space and adopting a minimalist interior, SkyGarden House is not only the ideal living space in a crowded urban environment, but also a symbol of energy efficiency and environmental friendliness.
