TT Residence is a family residence that exhibits a fusion between classical and modern architecture designed to last in the tropical climate of Bangkok, Thailand. All of this has been rendered since the general planning, layout, and architecture existed. While classical architecture is the initial idea of the owners, the owners most appreciate the scale and proportion of classical buildings, modern architecture offers a solution to design problems caused by architectural differences — style and context.

OVERALL PLANNING: THE MAIN LIVING AREAS OF THE HOUSE ARE DESIGNED IN AN L-SHAPE TO MINIMIZE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN EACH OF THE USED SPACES. Corresponding to the hall of the celebrated classical architecture, the two-story high living room generously welcomes all guests. The back half of the house is occupied by an additional multi-purpose area for contemporary use. L-shaped layouts create more interaction between family members through internal spaces that are physically and visually connected to each other.

IN ADDITION, THE MAIN HOUSE IS SURROUNDED BY FOUR SEPARATE COMPARTMENTS; OFFICE, CELLAR ROOM, GYM AND SERVICE, WHICH ARE USED NOT ONLY TO REGULATE THE MAIN LIVING AREAS, BUT ALSO TO PROMOTE MORE CIRCULATION AND VENTILATION IN THE RESIDENCE. Developed as a shading device, the extra-wide double deck helps protect the house from the strong light from the west and creates a semi-outdoor space for living in a tropical climate.
