A 23 PING MINIMALIST APARTMENT LOCATED IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREA OF DOWNTOWN TAIPEI, BY2BOOKS designWith a symmetrical spatial layout and minimalist style, the knife creates an open and bright modern living space. The design team removed excess partitions, using exposed beams and warm walnut walls to create an ideal home that combines privacy and openness that perfectly meets owners' expectations of simplicity and functionality.
The biggest feature of this apartment isOpen Public Spaces。 The designers integrated the living room, dining room and kitchen, removing excess partitions and dividing them with exposed structural columns instead of walls, creating a cohesive visual effect. This design not only improves the fluidity of the space, but also allows natural light to flow freely throughout the space, maximizing the luminosity.
Smartly designed using a square layout, emphasizingSYMMETRY。 The furniture and the movement plan are evenly balanced, and the restaurant becomes the focal point of the overall layout, connecting the bedroom corridor and the study on both sides. This symmetrical design not only enhances visual harmony, but also makes residents feel psychologically comfortable.
Due to the proximity of the building to other dwellings before and after, the designers adjusted the direction of the partitions and installed them in the central area with less lightStainless Steel Door Fan, using the reflective effect of the metal material, the natural light of the front and rear windows is scattered throughout the space, further enhancing the brightness and transparency of the space.
Hidden behind walnut walls on one side, the bedroom and bathroom both maintain the cleanliness of the space and enhance privacy. The natural color of walnut wood adds a warm atmosphere to the space and softens the cold minimalist style.
The whole is based on grey tones, with stainless steel, walnut and stone floors, infusing a different level of visual impact to each space through subtle contrasts of material and colour, while maintaining the purity of the minimalist style.
The study room is designed to provide the owner with an uninterrupted workspace with a small window inside, allowing residents to stay engaged with their family while concentrating on their work. This design combines functionality with interpersonal connectivity.
Symmetrical layouts are highly flexible, so balance and harmony can be achieved through clever furniture arrangement and movement planning, whether it is a small apartment or a large apartment.
It is recommended to use hidden storage and clean it regularly to maintain visual freshness and a sense of space expansion.
IN ADDITION TO OPTING FOR A TRANSPARENT DOOR FAN OR CURTAIN, REFLECTIVE MATERIALS SUCH AS STAINLESS STEEL OR MIRRORS CAN BE USED TO DIRECT LIGHT TO ALL PARTS OF THE SPACE.
2BOOKS design shows how to use symmetrical layouts and lighting designs in a limited space with 23 floors of minimalist apartments to achieve a living environment that coexists with functionality and beauty. Such design ideas remind us that the value of space is not in size, but in how to make the most of every inch to bring comfort and beauty to everyday life.
