【Suwa Ya Collection】Reshaping the Balance
Located in Suzhou Old Town, this new and old land is one of the foundations of spatial design. The owner has a clear pursuit of his life. The owner works for the Apple company, and his career habits change, and he prefers new homes with a rational and modern atmosphere, while not losing the local expression of Suzhou. The interior design is based on modern minimalism, emphasizing the rationality of lines, while also reducing local culture into lines or modern elements, achieving a balance between traditional and modern form.
In order to make the public space more open, the layout of the living room, restaurant and study has been carefully adjusted, giving the space an open appearance, and the mood is relaxed after entering. And that comes with an increase in functionality. Extra-long sofas make the most of the leisure diversity, can accommodate guests, can be watched, can interact with the restaurant, and easily cope with different life scenes. The load-bearing walls between the dining rooms perform different functions in different spaces by reconfiguring them on both sides. The living room is a beautiful and atmospheric fireplace, and in the restaurant it is a wine rack that combines aesthetics and practicality to make the space more possible. The space for the heritage of local culture focuses on spiritual perception, not form expression. Combining the traditional view of the Tianyuan area and the modernity of the metal plates, the texture of the stone walls is a natural imprint, enriching the texture of space with its original form, and adopts the concept of natural habitation, creating a unique contemporary garden that allows residents to regain their inner resonance and belonging.
The tall structure and pure tones give the restaurant a sense of space, and the beveled design of the columns not only gives light and dark changes to the space stereos in geometry, but also extends the line of vision upwards and leads to higher places. Floor-to-ceiling windows and glass balustrades allow natural light to flow in and interpret the comfort of natural living. The unified marble makes the dining table and Nakajima a visual continuation of each other, maintaining the minimalist exterior of the space. Misplaced structure distinction function, marks out the level of the space. The Japanese-style storage preferred by the owners is integrated throughout the space, and the open and closed spaces are neatly distributed, stored and displayed in one. Stair space uses light to the fullest, emotions, art, atmosphere grow to the fullest in the shadows. The revolving staircase bathes in plenty of natural light and looks lighter and more dynamic, and the beauty of the form is revealed without a trace. The transparent edges refract the light and scatter the light streaked on the floor, making the art visually appealing. The lighting enriches the structure of the stairs and creates a sensory experience that is clearly intertwined and imperceptible.
The black and white sleeping space has plenty of linear expression, allowing order to bring inner peace. The bright green table lamp is retro and stylish, adding a touch of vitality to the space. The warm light dulls the atmosphere of tranquility and awakens a peaceful mood. Wood grille and storage extend to another space to make the bedroom look more spacious. Black and white, simple and dense form a vivid contrast, and are mutually neutral, achieving a subtle balance. The exterior of the bathroom is a natural place, and the windows become natural frames, canceling the presence of curtains and making the beauty the atmosphere of the space. The texture of the marble neutralizes the whiteness of the window, complex and full of imagination.
